My wife and I stopped in around 5pm last night, just before things got busy. We were greeted pleasantly by our server Jennifer... and ordered an appetizer of the whitefish dip. Great, but the Chicken Marsala and Sirloin were both amazing! Just prior tofinishing our meals, a large loud rehearsal dinner crowd arrived at the table next to us. Jennifer and Robert(owner) insisted onmoving us upstairs to the terrace which was beautiful; right in front of the fireplace too! My wife had already received a glassof wine on the house, but soon Robert arrived with a glass of port, along with caramel cheesecake. It was awesome!! I travelextensively, but this could possibly have been one of my best restaurant experiences ever. The personal attention was amazing,and we will be back soon! Read more

We enjoyed our food and had great service! The atmosphere is delightful. As I am 9 months pregnant, I can't vouch for the... cocktails, but I plan to go back to try some! After our birthday dinner reservation at a neighboring restaurant was cancelled without prior notice, the owner of this fine... establishment gave us a table out of the kindness of his heart despite the restaurant being completely booked for the evening.The dinner did not disappoint. Our party reached a unanimous consensus it was the best meal we?d eaten in a long time. Theorange cedar salmon was succulent and decadent. From a menu filled with delicious meals to unparalleled service to a kind ownerthat goes the extra mile for his patrons, this is a must stop in St. Joseph. Read more

Nice environment but the prices suggest more. A couple was facing the table we were at and it was difficult to not hear their... entire conversation. The firecracker shrimp was amazing! I had the ribeye with mushrooms and onions and it was just okay. Theonions were beyond cooked and...soggy. My wife had a blue cheese ribeye and she enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best. Coke wasflat with only one refill, which was hilarious given the price points. Server was very polite but may have had too many tablessince we didn't see her often. But she was awesome. Still glad we went, but will try another place if we go through St.Joseph's again. Read more

Excellent local steakhouse with great outdoor seating and awesome food! Our kids loved the steaks, they had a rather extensive... set of gluten-free options (one of our group has celiac disease), and were able to accommodate us on short notice even with abig group! Enjoyed an absolutely delightful winter evening at 221 Main. The Terrace ambiance with the blazing outdoor fireplace is romantic... and cozy. (I missed the lime but it... was good) Brussel Sprouts *perfect* with bacon & honey Scott Egg was on point Calamari was okay, I asked for a side of comebacksauce instead of the cocktail sauce House Caesar (no croutons, add tomatoes) was pretty good alittle lite on the dressing PrimeRip Dip sandwich, good, the au jus wasn't too salty and the fries came out crispy and lightly seasoned Creme Brulee - nailed it.Perfectly crisp melted sugar topping.
