Ordered the southern fried chicken, it took us about 15 minutes to order from the time we walked in the door and 10 minutes to... get our food after we ordered. I swear the fried chicken had been sitting under a warmer about 30 minutes before we even gotthere. WALMART even puts there fried chicken to a discounted price before it gets that bad. It was to the chewy crust point andgrey black skin under it with sticky and dry mix of textures depending on the part you pulled off. Not a pleasant experience.The biscuits were good though. Lucas was AMAZINGGGGG!! I would highly recommend him as a waiter. Food was fresh and tasted great.. the only thing that needed... some help were the greens. They were watery and unseasoned. ????Update?. Wish it allowed a new entry as this original was a year ago. Wow this was terrible? longs story short as I... messaged Cracker Barrel directly the other day regarding this..I called in a pickup order we picked it up for home anddiscovered we had the wrong order, sat on hold eight teen minutes to speak to the manager to fix the order, while I was on holdI was driving back in already. Brought the wrong order back in the girl put the order I was returning back into the outgoingrack! Told me it would be a few minutes to remake my original order, 15/20 min later we finally got the order. The poor girl wasworking the counter solo and bombarded the entire time, I was hoping to discuss this with the manager because I was actuallylooking to cancel and refund the order. But never saw one? our past couple trips have been subpar here. I fully understand thework situation right now and being short staffed but customer service is still a necessity if they want to succeed.???? Had anearly dinner (4pm) and had a great experience. Our waitress was great, the room festive and the fire place was great. I had thefried Turkey hit spot! Also the friendliest waitress we have ever had there. If you're looking for some really good Southern cooking food then this is the place I would choose. They always have very quick... and fast service. The servers are attentive funny and work at a fast pace. I don't think my order has ever been wrong here atthis location. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some good food. Read more
