Went to celebrate an event. We can ordered the Tuna Tartare, Duck, Scallops, Swordfish, Filet special and pasta. All of the... meats were FANTASTIC! The best filet I have had in years. Scallops cooked perfectly (but had red pepper on top which wasoverpowering). The owner is a great host and made the night all that more enjoyable. Read more

This was a place in a beautiful setting with a lot of charm. The staff was super nice and the wine list was solid-- not... extensive-- but lots of good stuff on there. You'll definitely be able to get some nice bottles! I liked the carpaccio a lotbut the little toast points had a char on them that tasted a bit too acrid. The short ribs my colleague ordered were great. Iwas a little underwhelmed by my lamb chops - - they were a little more medium well and could've used more salt. Also a prettysmall amount of food for $39. Overall a really nice atmosphere for a nice dinner but not perfect. Read more

Dinner only by reservation. Extremely quaint building and amicable staff. Temperature was perfect compared to the cold... outside. Long wine list. The caprese appetizer was devoured before pictures were taken; fresh tomato and arugula on mozzarellachunks drizzled with balsamic. The wine was Elouan pinot noir from Oregon; reputedly excellent. Three folks had filet mignonwith buttered spinach and seasoned potato chunks; I had Lebanese lamb chops with couscous and grilled zuccuni and squash. Allwas very delicious with an occasional oversalty bite (thus the 4-star). The creme brulee was excellent, and the caramelcheesecake was drizzled with chocolate and garnished with blackberries and sliced strawberries. The wait time for the food wasaverage, and the parking was sufficient for a converted old home. Petit Bistro is the perfect location for a planned romanticor celebratory dinner. I think I will try the osso buco next time, or maybe even the swordfish. Read more

The restaurant is located just off a right turn from N Walton boulevard and it's a little difficult to locate especially if... driving at night. I would suggested to pay attention when you are a quarter mile away. It's a cozy little place with great foodand wine. The menu is simple but it's difficult to choose as everything seems appetizing. We ordered the lamb and the swordfishand loved both of them. The couscous served with the swordfish in a light Cajun cream reduction was somewhat like a comfort foodand i would go back for it. They also suggested the paired wine and it totally made the evening. The ambience makes it a greatplace for a long conversation with good food. As of desserts, the bread pudding was good but the starter and entree set up ahuge standard and i felt it could be better. The cheesecake was exactly what we expected. Little expensive but worth spendingsometime for the whole experience. Reserving a table in advance is recommended. Read more
