Absolutely delicious! One of the best Italian restaurants in NWA. The price is not that expensive compared to other Italian... restaurants that I have been in different cities and the taste is simply amazing. We planned this stop and were really looking forward to it for my birthday! I just love Italian food and we don't have a Italian... restaurant in town persay, so we're really looking forward to this meal. Now in all honesty the dessert "rocked"! It was thevery best part by far and was tiramasu and a couple of other concoctions that were off the chain . . .I would go back just forthe dessert it was delicious! But as far as creating your own pasta mine was much better than my husband's only because I hadthe vegetable pasta which was homemade. Read more
Let me start out by saying our server, Vanessa, was amazing. We have been coming here for years and have always had the best... meal. Here's where my disappointment happened. I always order the Ravioli Tavola, pretty consistent as I order the same dishevery time we come here. This is supposed to be filled with blue crab meat. As I started to eat these blue crab meat stuffedpillows I noticed it was not filled with blue crab instead baby shrimp. I brought this to my servers attention and she had noclue and took it to the chef. The chef told her that it's a seafood ravioli and changed 6 months ago. Okay, well what if I wasallergic to shrimp? Thank goodness I am not. I did take a picture of my meal along with the current menu that was presented tome. The GM never came out to address this, instead sent our server out. I truly hope this review is addressed and at leastthey will change their menu to reflect this. I won't be ordering this again, I was truly disappointed being a loyal customer. Read more
Just let me say this. All you can eat brunch for 24$ a person before taxes. It has to have been the best dining experience I've... had in NWA in a long time. We arrived and were seated pretty quickly. I checked over the menu and was in shock to see the amountof options you get for an all you can eat brunch. I wouldn't say any of the food was lacking flavour. Everything had a very nicebalance and you could taste all of the ingredients in your food. Nothing was very overwhelming over the other. Some might findthat bland but are you really a foodie if you can't enjoy all the flavours life has to offer? In my opinion the food wasincredible and exceeded my expectations of what this place has to offer. Our server was on top of everything at a perfect placeand couldn't have had a better experience in my opinion. If you are into treating yourself once in a while definitely check thisplace out. You will find yourself eating your money's worth and that's no joke. They portion all of the food perfectly to allowyou to try more in one sitting rather than getting full of your first or second plate. Semplicemente delizioso. Took my son and girlfriend when they were down from college. She grew up eating traditional Italian... meals and was very satisfied. Of course, it was extremely busy, but the dinner just flowed nicely. The staff seemed to be therewhen needed, and not a minute more. From the warm, fresh bread to tiramisu, it was a flavor packed feast. Being known as one whowould rather stay home than go out, if given the choice, I would go to Tavola every time. Read more
Some in my party would probably give Tavola four or five stars because they loved their food. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, and... it was not worth ever ordering again. I personally think the chain competitors have better Fettuccine Alfredo. With thatsaid, the food presentation for each dish was magnificent. The before dinner bread was delicious. The service would only gettwo stars, but I don't blame the waitress. I think she was simply overwhelmed. They need more wait staff. This was a weeknight, I would hate to see the service on a weekend. This is a "fancy" and pricey restaurant, so I would expect high qualityservice. Read more
I had the lobster risotto which was great. Maybe a little overpriced for $32 with no sides?The sage tomato soup was the best... I?ve ever had! Loved dipping their bread in it. My husband didn?t love the Tavola Pizza. It was mostly burnt crust and then asoggy pile of grease in the middle with very little sauce. Our waitress was VERY nice in trying to get us something else though!The pizza could have been executed better but overall it was a nice experience. Read more
