After having experienced the rooftop bar, the restaurant and undercroft, I can fully review this place! The rooftop bar has a... great vibe and outdoor seating. It’s a more limited cocktail menu with a lot of refreshing drinks. Great place to enjoy acooler evening or sunset! Undercroft is really unique, being in the basement of this old church. Their drink menu is diverseand has something for all tastes! It can get pretty loud so be aware it’s not ideal for a large group. Here’s the biggesthighlight of this place: Preacher’s Son. The menu is constantly changing with deliciously curated recipes. We started with thescallops (only 2 scallops in the dish) and then my wife got the salmon while I had the mussels in a chorizo, white wine broth -well seasoned and portioned! Wowsa: This is one of those restaurants that lives up to it's (long standing) hype ???? The burrata appetizer was delicious and... so complex. Each flavor came through, from the flaky finishing salt to the tiny slices of mint, to the gooey pine nut butterswirled with fig jam and the toasty edges of the brioche. The cheesy cauliflower was so good we couldn't stop eating it, evenafter we were very full. Great spice, creamy cheddar sauce, crunchy cashews, and perfectly charred florets. The beet-orangesalad with little puffs of whipped ricotta was just bright enough to offset the creamy cheese dishes, before... The ruby redtrout. Drenched in beurre blanc, kissed with lemon and a little spice, a hint of the smoke from the cook, and nestled in betweenthe fillets: fried brussel sprouts. Absolutely perfect. Our server was right to recommend it. We didn't have room for dessert,but snuck in some Mousse Tracks (chocolate mousse with walnuts, marshmallows, whipped cream and cookie crumble) anyway. We hadattentive, helpful, smiling service. We scored a great table off to the side, right under the stained glass windows, where itwas a bit easier to hear. I had a spectacular experience here. The environment is beautiful, especially through the sunset, just a awesome venue. The food... was amazing, with extremely thoughtful and interesting flavors. The service was very good, who was knowledgeable of the menu andcomplimentary pairings of wine. The only thing I'd say I was hoping for, was a little quicker service. I wasn't in a rush andwas plenty entertained by my group and lovely ambiance, but it was a long dinner for just the three of us. Will definitelyreturn, overall a brilliant time. Thank you. Read more
Beautiful atmosphere in an old restored church. Friendly knowledge service. Brought clients in visiting from California and they... were extremely impressed. Thanks for accommodating us without a reservation! High remarks for the half chicken, pork chop andrigatoni! And the Burrata app with fig compote was incredible. Also enjoyed the southern pimento cheese croquettes and the beet& fennel salad. Well poured house crafted cocktails too! Especially the pistachio old fashioned. Cheers!!!! Read more
