I ate lunch here yesterday and got to sit and listen to the Mgr with red hair acting like a dictator instead of a leader! Truly... felt terrible for her staff, and if this any indication of the day to day leadership at this location, I can totally understandwhy they can't keep help! ???? Read more

This was the only fast food for miles around and when we found ourselves still needing dinner at 8:45 at night on a Tuesday,... options were pretty limited to this McDonald's. We waited in line for a total of 20min from time of order to when we receivedour food. We had to pull ahead from the window. We had two McDoubles, 2 cheeseburgers, and a Double Qtr Pounder value meal. OneMcDouble had Big Mac sauce on it I think and about 10pickles. It didn't have a special order tag and I did not order that so inthe dark, I was honestly kind of concerned what it looked like/what was in it that my appetite was ruined. The pop that camewith the value meal did not taste right either. It also didn't have a straw. The Double Qtr Pounder tasted burnt and the frieswere also overcooked. Very unusual for our typical experiences at any other McDonald's. We do realize that it was close to 9pmso not a peak time but there were three cars ahead of us in line and cars behind us. Read more
It's a McDonald's. It's a McDonald's in a very rural part of northern Michigan. Set your expectations accordingly. ???? I have... been here three times since I started work in northern MI. I pass it on my way downstate. All three times, I've been pleased.I've been served fresh, hot food that doesn't differ at all from other McDonald's locations I've visited. Cleanliness... Maybenot doing so well on that front, lol. I asked for my iced coffee to be remade because it was probably 75% cream. They took itback over the counter and added more coffee. Having worked in food service, I know that's bad practice. But always, theemployees are friendly. They work so hard to satisfy the CRUSH of tourists going up to Sleeping Bear Dunes. They deserve somecredit for that! If you want a premier dining experience, go to Traverse City. I'm sure you can find a $28 chicken sandwichsomewhere on Front Street. ???? Read more
2020 and still having issues. You go through drive thru because your in a hurry, then you get told to park. It is not called... drive and park. Still can't figure out the filling the fry container. This town needs other fast food places. 2019 Needswork. Fries aren't always full and orders do get messed up. Beside that, the food is great. JUNE update. They are gettingworse. See picture. What an experience. Come to enjoy lunch and the manager Laura is having a bad day. Shaking her head cause no one wants to use... the kiosk. Then making people wait long times to wait on the next person. Absolutely no hospitality. She was rude the whole timebeing here. Hopefully her manager sees this and does something about it.
