OMG! Had such a blast. Was there with my brother. The 2 bartenders that we had made it so much fun! Nicole and Alex were the... best. When we come back in there, we will be asking for those 2! In our continuing pursuit to try local restaurants in the area, we wanted to try Maya. Upon arriving, we were greeted quickly... and seated. The restaurant was not overly busy when we first arrived but filled in shortly after. We had our complementarychips and salsa moments after we sat down. Salsa was quite good and tasted freshly made. Menu had a lot of variety and it wasdifficult to narrow down our choices. Ultimately, we choose the chorizo queso fundido as our appetizer. It was served quicklywith warm flour tortillas. Had a significant amount of chorizo inside, which made it slightly greasy but very flavorful. For myentree, I choose the chorio pollo. Food came out very quick. Chicken in the dish was very flavorful and cooked well. The chickenpaired very well with the chorizo. Combined with the Spanish rice and black beans, rounded out the dish. Serving size was quitegood and left very full. My wife ordered the fajita burrito. She was quite impressed with the steak. She was only able to eathalf of the burrito and took the rest to go. Did not have any room for dessert but seeing what other tables got, the slices ofcake were HUGE and shareable. Service was excellent and will absolutely be returning in the future. Read more
BEST PLACE EVER. This is our family?s favorite spot, we have never and I mean never had a bad experience. I love that we see the... same familiar faces with the staff and they are all so friendly. Had a date here and somehow we managed to get our food faster than our drinks! I had a Mexican Coke and my date had water. We... were seated quickly and the food came quickly. The food was good and I could see myself coming back here again for sure. Read more
Maya is a local gem in Berea. The food is phenomenal and the service is always fast and friendly. I end up getting the seafood... burrito almost every time, though I've had many of the items in the menu. The margaritas are delicious and everything is fairlypriced. Love this place. Read more
