Go have the macarons! These people know what their doing. This place is the only place that compares to Laduree. I got the rose... water and the mango lassi macarons, while I waited for my taro bubble tea in inhaled the rose water macarons which left my tastebuds asking if I should definitely get another one. I looked up and the friendly gentlemen behind the counter asked if I neededhelp, I let him know that I may need to get more of these delicious fresh macarons. I first tried their Dirty Zai?s Bubble Tea. I asked not to make it too sweet and I really loved it. So I went again to buy the... same milktea but unfortunately it wasn?t as good as the first time so I was a bit disappointed. I will try again just to besure. Read more
This mama finally had sometime to herself and treated herself to Zai's today!! All I can say is wow! Got my cappuccino bubble... tea ???????? oatmeal raisins ???? and had try the delicious cappuccino macaron, the owner offered a "Rose water" macaron andsaid it was his fav. ???? OMG the deliciousness!! I actually love Rose water and that macaron is my fav too now????? So glad Itook the time to come out and try, been wanting to for a while. ! It?s beautiful store with loads of desserts, pastries, crepe and drink options. They got cookies, brownies, macarons, cupcakes,... milkshakes, bubbles teas and hot drinks. They also take custom cake order, needs to be put in 2 weeks advance. Read more
I was in town visiting some friends in the area and they suggested that we go to Zai?s for a treat on a Sunday afternoon. We... are from Toronto and I have to say that we were very impressed with our entire experience. The café has such a great vibe andthey had a large variety of options to choose from. The owners were incredibly warm and inviting and they took the time toensure that we were enjoying our food and our experience. Must try?s: -The Mac Chip Ice Cream was simply DELICIOUS. They putactual macaron pieces in the ice cream ? best thing I?ve tasted in a long time! Really top quality ice cream too. -CoconutMacaron ? So pretty and had actual pieces of coconut on top. These were so good, I ended up buying a box of them to bring hometo my family. -The coffee was excellent ? very nice blend, it was perfect with my macaron. It seems that all the baked goodsare made in house and you can taste how fresh they are. I personally have a gluten allergy and I was so pleased to see thatthey had some options available for me!
