The bartenders are very nice and provide good conversation. Food was full of flavor and filling. I\'ve had a number of items on... the menu and everything has been excellent. Will be back for sure. Read more

Stopped by for a quick happy hour drink, (finally), after Doc\'s Refresher reopened as 4Bells Public House. Unless you\'re... local, you might never know it\'s there since there is no sign on the building and only a sometimes-upright-and-pointing-in-the-right-direction sandwich chalk board out on the median at University and 9th, lol.\n\nANYway, it wasTaco Tuesday and the happy hour deal 3 tacos of your choice (12) and a beer (7+) for $15 was a steal. We ordered 2 beers and theoxtail tacos, which, as a standalone need a bit more flavor but the meat was so tender and the quick pickled red onion added atasty tang. Pour on the accompanying taco sauce - not a salsa, more of a jus - and you\'ve got a winner.\n\nThey kept the backroom with the pinball machines (4 bells?) and the bar is still a great selection of beer, wines (their list looks thoughtfullychosen) and liquors. I don\'t generally drink cocktails out, but it looks like they could make whatever you want and then some. They probably do an amazing Negroni Sbagliato! The staff and service was actually the best part about our visit that day - thetacos were good, the beers were... beers... and the place was pretty quiet at 4:30 on a Tuesday, but the servers were warm, friendly, and inviting. Tip your servers, folks!\n\nWell be back for World Cup and A LOT more menu sampling! Read more

The food wasn’t too good. We got the wings sample platter, house salad, and the mole chicken sandwich. We didn’t really like... any of the 5 wing flavors that came with the sampler, the dry rub was alright. The salad was okay, nothing special but it wasgreen and edible. The mole chicken sandwich was a let down, the sandwich was too big and the chicken lacked flavor. The molesauce was subtle and a little watery, not really an aioli like it said on the menu. The fries that came with it were tastythough, probably the only part of the meal we were satisfied with. Service was good. Overall was not impressed by this food andit did not live up to expectations. Maybe we’ll give it another shot at some point. Read more

Came for the food, stayed for the music! Seriously though the throwback early 2000’s songs were just the best. The oxtail mac... n cheese was also to die for! Solid margs as well. Will come back! Read more

Neighborhood bar with plenty of tables for seating. Bar was well stocked and they had a large selection of wines. Food was... pretty good in general, we tried the dry rubbed wings (great), sweet mustard wings (average), coconut prawns (fantastic), cubanosandwich (decent), strawberry margarita (great). Food was a bit heavy, but that was to be expected. Pictured is the cubanosandwich Read more

Great small neighborhood bar! Bar seating is small but plenty of tables and multiple TVs. Only had the lobster tamal but it was... delicious. Larger menu in pictures. Will come back! Read more
