Hidden gem! Their chicken and waffles are amazing. Chicken is sooo good with the gravy. Make sure to order the maple syrup if... you want a little sweetness on your waffles. Good texture chicken for sure. Got the chicken and waffles and the chicken sandwich. Thought the Slaw could be more flavorful. Located at 7th st and Grayson. Street parking only. The restaurant is small for indoor, but I see they have larger out door... space at the back(not sure it belongs to them). There is not too many choices on the menu, I can't say it is bad or good.Depends how you think about. But they can make themselves easier to make, shorten the wait time, better taste, etc. I wouldsuggest if they can offer gluten free choices for the menus items. Maybe they have already? I didn't ask about. If they do, theycould charge more for that. I don't see why not. LoL. Anyway, I ordered "7&Grayson", and "breakfast". They taste good, the shapeof the hash brown is kinda unique. Some of the best chicken and waffles I?ve ever had. Super fresh and nicely battered chicken, and the pancake was ready to take... in all the syrup, spicy sauce (if that?s your thing, which I highly recommend), and other seasonings. Mixed together very verynicely. The place itself is pretty quaint and intimate. Really enjoyed just having a relaxing breakfast there. Would absolutelygo again when I go back to Oakland. Read more
