It takes a lot to impress me if all you serve is drinks. This place was perfect. They knew their product, friendly, great... neighborhood feel. Their house specialty cocktails were great. I had the wildcat and a mole mescaline shot. I could see hopethis is most people's favorite neighborhood secret. Amazing drinks, amazing staff, great prices, great ambiance!!!Definitely a must do. For the sake of all fair-minded decent neighborhood barflies, stop shoving a-hole amateur bartenders in our face. Bartending is... a social art and craft not a quick gig for cash for misanthropic flybys. And it is never an excuse to abuse people. A few of ushave decided to boycott what's been our favorite local bar for a decade because of the random poor hiring. We simply don'tappreciate abusive bartenders. The abuse (not just a fleeting moment of rudeness but deliberately nasty verbal attack on sobercustomers) has happened multiple times in the last year or so...be-bye until management pays attention. Thank you for being a down to earth, cozy, and local bar. The staff here at Acme bar have always been accommodating and... humorous. The patrons are mostly locals. I love how you can socialize in whatever setting you choose. The back area is nostalgicand is perfect for that alone-time glass of wine. Read more
It?s a shame I haven?t been the best customer here ? I?ve been cut off and kicked out before. That being said, the bartenders... who work here know their spirits, especially whiskeys. I?ve spent a while here and I?ve yet to be disappointed. They have ajukebox and it?s super fun, the bartenders are charismatic and will vibe. Loyal customer base, I see same faces. The bar offers the widest selection of whiskies that I have ever seen. The thought and knowledge put into each of the drink... menus and tasting flights is superb. Great juke box, great bar tenders, and the owner brings out charcuterie plates from time totime. Ask about renting this place out as a venue. Read more
