This is my favorite local cafe! The empanadas are incredible. They have savory and sweet ones and both are equally delicious.... (They?re also doing a sweet seasonal pumpkin pie empanada!) Swung by to nibble on some empanadas and enjoy a cafe con leche for breakfast. They were visibly short staffed the morning I... strolled in, but the hustle of the staff was absolutley apparent. I placed my order online so they could continue to focus onchurning out orders. Apologies were profusely offered for the impending wait for food and coffee, but I wasn't in the least bitbothered as it offered an opportunity to enjoy their space and the heavenly smells whilst reading a book. The mushroom empanadawith chimi was divine and reminiscent of empanadas made for me by my Argentinian brother in law and his family. Will definitelycome back to try out some different savory empanadas and hope that the apricot pastry is back in stock!! Read more
I recently got into empanadas and this place is heavenly! The atmosphere and service is wonderful, very inviting. The empanadas... are delicious, I absolutely love the spinach feta empanada it?s like home in a little turnover. Their apricot bar and lemon barare so good and the coffee is delicious. Read more
Amazing empanadas. Better than a lot of the empanadas I had in Argentina. These are much larger than Argentinian empanadas and... the dough is much better than anything I could find in Buenos Aires. I highly recommend the beef and the mushroom empanadas.Chicken was good But the other two are better unless you don't eat beef or mushroom and cheese. Also you absolutely have to getthe chocolate croissant they make using Mexican chocolate and a coffee with it. Read more
