Aka Pollo Picante during the limited menu offering there doing during covid Really amazing spicy fried chicken sandwich. It... comes dusted with habanero powder which you can ask for more of if you like. I enjoyed eating very spicy things and did not findthe default dusting that spicy. It's a lot like the Popeye's Chicken sandwich but much much bigger and better with two chickenbreast pieces placed on one delicious bun. Also I had no idea this place made some of the best fries I've had in recent memory. Read more

The chicken sandwiches are amazing! Some of the best I've ever had but the service is bad, I've called in lunch orders 3 times... now and show up 20 minutes later just to find they haven't started the order. No matter when you call in prepare to wait as ifyou never called. Still worth it if you have the patience or time. Read more

Delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. Pollo Verde is spicy and so good, Al Pastor likewise. Super tacos with rice, beans... and all the toppings - they make everything just how you like. Recommended. Read more

This is my go-to burrito place in Berkeley. Not only is the quality of the food top notch (really excellent carnitas), but the... food is consistently good, the prices are amazing, and the salsa bar has more than just picked jalapenos. The only complaint Ihave is that they're not open 24/7 - but that's lucky for me, otherwise I would turn into a burrito. Read more

$1.95 street tacos. Happy Hour 2-3 pm which does not include carne asada or shrimp: still an amazing deal. I stopped by and had... the carne asada...it came with chips and all the condiments you needed. Carne asada was good-wish it had a bit more flavor, butthe price can't be beat in the Bay Area. Very mediocre food. Super burrito with carnitas had way TOO MUCH rice. Rice tasted old. Fire roasted salsa was bland, salsa... verde was ho hum. People working here were very service minded, very helpful. Not the worst Mexican food, but definitely not thebest. As a rule of thumb I stay away from taquerias that put tons of rice in a burrito. I usually always order the tostada salad bowl which is the best thing here (at least I think so). They fry the tortilla on the... spot so it takes a few minutes. I got the burrito bowl with el pastor and yum yum yum!! Its fast, they're pretty friendly, andthey have amazing Mexican soda with a ton of diff flavors. Theres always enough places to sit even when theres a line because alot of people take their food for takeout. It's also one of the cheapest places to get lunch for the huge amount of food theygive you. Read more
