Ali was very welcoming and gracious . We had tandoori chicken, palak paneer, karahi goat, naan. They forgot to serve rice. Naan... was hot and delicious. Would recommend others to try. All meat served is Halal. Read more
Come for the food; stay for the TLC. This original location has the essence of family-run business. I?ve enjoyed many many meals... here throughout the years. Sacramento Street location is along my path to/from clients and home so I tend to order or eatin-house at that location. Enjoy!! Read more
Excellent curry! But you have to order your rice as a side. As in: rice does not automatically come with your curry, you have to... pay extra for rice. Thought that was very strange as it's the first time I've encountered that at any Indian restaurant.Otherwise it's an easy 5 star review aside from that. Who eats curry without rice? Read more
Yes, of course you can get a fresh and perfectly flaky and beautifully stuffed samosa? why stop there? Order the goat tikka... masala! Or goat biryani! Really straight forward Desi food mix of tikkas, karahi and tandooris, and obviously biryani and naan. You get your own plates,... utensils and glasses from the front. They also have complimentary chai at the front which you can help yourself to. We orderedchicken biryani and Tikka which did the job for us, though I wish it was a tad bit spicier. House of Curries has a great selection of authentic Pakistani and Indian food that will have you wishing you had two stomachs!... The service is mostly self serve but the workers are polite and will always help out when they can. I recommend getting theChicken Korma alongside a Daal and garlic naan bread (shown in photo).
