I ordered catering for a birthday party from Lulu and I can't wait to do it again! The food was so beautifully plated and was... delicious. We had plenty of food for the 30 people that were in attendance. The communication and pickup was great. I can'trecommend them enough for your catering needs. Read more

Great vibes, service is a little inattentive but the food surely makes up for it. The mezze plate is incredible, don’t miss... out on it! The rose coffee is divine as well. Would love some heaters or cozy blankets outside! Read more

We were there yesterday, 2:30pm seating with nice weather to sit outside. When the 4 brunches were served, we were surprised to... see them on a high tea plates. It made sense since the table was definitely not big enough without going 3D for all thefood. We liked all items. Cheese chunk next to the mini grapes and sesame breads were two favorites. The waitress told methat she specifically asked for the mini grapes just for me.???? Since they don't offer alcoholic drinks, we brought a bottleof champagne. They charged us $10 corkage fee but no ice bucket to keep it cool. Read more

Best brunch I had in a very long time: My party had kefta burger, fried chicken sando, sumac french fries, knafeh pancake, and... coffee. Everything was executed beyond expectations which was already set high. Not only was the patty in my burger packedwith flavors, it was really juicy as you can see in my pic. And mint in the chicken sando was refreshing and great for a changefrom the rest of chicken sandos I had in the past. They actually utilized mint very well in many dishes (and even in thewater). And it was my first time trying knafeh pancake but definitely will be back for it again. Next time, I will definitelytry the mezze brunch with my party as I've heard amazing things about it. brunch will simply NEVER be the same. this was the most incredible brunch experience of my life, i cannot wait to take all my... friends here, but at the same time I don't want to because it is going to be come so freaking busy. this place is one of a kind.the best food, service, vibe that one could ask for. II am not usually the most dairy intolerant, and the food has a decentamount of cheese, but none of it made my stomach hurt because it was so fresh and clean (preservatives wise). I was so so soimpressed. the staff was incredible, warm, and friendly. see pictures of food, no words needed. OUTSTANDING. Read more

Every bit of food feels and tastes unique. I really loved everything I got! The brule coffee, sando, and pancake! None of them... are what I pictured in my head, but in a good way. It was actually better. Highly recommend. Read more

A fancy new place in west Berkeley. We read about it in the local news and decided to check it out. We couldn’t get a... reservation through the Resy platform earlier in the week. However we decided to call them on the date of our visit to see if aspot opened up and luckily it did. The food was really good. The menu is quite limited and the mezze platter is the star of theshow. I don’t mind that because the platter is really a work of art. The chef trained in French cooking (according to theirwebsite) and infuses that style as well as her Californian upbringing and Palestinian roots in the food being served. Each mezzeplatter is unique and you can actually see the chef assembling it. It’s around 30 dollars per person and the entire table mustparticipate. It’s a tad pricey but given inflation and the amount of effort needed per platter, I can understand why the costis high. In terms of the components of the platter, below is what we got: - breads: an assortment of 3 kinds of bread, one ofwhich was the zatar bread. Fresh, hot and good with dips. - shakshouka: runny eggs with avocado and feta and a bit ofcoriander. A nice tangy combo - Apple butter and halloumi: the butter was tart and dark because of the apple . Paired well withthe pan fried halloumi - Butternut miso mutabal: a dip made of likely butternut squash with some other ingredients andgarnished with feta. Had a bit of an umami squashy taste - Crispy Brussel sprouts in pomegranate molasses: the star of theplatter and a perfect fall side dish - Labneh: with some oil - deviled eggs - with zatar and some spices mixed into the yolk. This wasn’t on the menu but was a nice surprise - Crudités- went well with the dips - black garlic hummus- a reallyinteresting fusion hummus served with maitake mushrooms and molasses - pita chips - were crunchy and paired well with thedips - a few slices of cut fresh fruit - we got some pears and what looked like persimmons The good thing was the portionsizes Read more
