The city council wants to allow people to live in Berkeley but how can anyone live withoutMcDonalds! 10/16/2022 Haven't eaten there on a regular basis for breakfast and lunch lately, the customer service at thislocation reflects badly on the McDonald's chain.... No toilet seat cover in the men's restroom for 5 days and no apologies. Stale apple fritters and difficulties when alternative to replace them requested. Hopefully with more people speaking up,customer service will benefit. Contacting the corporation has indeed been received well. Read more
Got a great deal for free McNuggets through the McDonald’s app and just needed to go to the store for pick up. They... remodelled awhile back (I’ve lived in Berkeley for well over 10 years) and it’s really nice inside. They have bar stools bythe windows for you to sit or tables as well. There’s a touchscreen kiosk to order inside if you don’t feel like talking topeople or you can order at the cashier. I think a manager was helping me with my order but I’m not sure, I didn’t get hername. She was nice and pleasant. I went in around noon on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all. Normally I order through thisstore on DoorDash and those orders have all been 10/10 no issues. Read more
Not only do homeless people inhabit the zone basically in front of the store, but why would you want to eat at McDonalds anyway?... Like, the food is the worst quality food on the planet. Way worse than school lunch. Read more
Had an awful experience at this McDonalds. They require a token to use the restroom. I had to ask three times for the token, so... by the time I had the token my food was ready. In the five minutes I used the restroom, my food was stolen. I politely broughtthe issue up with the staff, and they were immediately adversarial. I don't know why they were so rude to me. This could havebeen avoided if the bathroom had a code on the receipt, or if the staff had been polite. I don't think I'm asking for much. Read more
I had to rate this McDonald's five stars because it is sooo much better, in every way, than any in nearby Oakland. For some... reason Oakland McDonald's restaurants are pretty horrible when compared to everywhere else. For whatever reason, Berkeleylocations seem to be a huge step up, get your order right (why is this so difficult in Oakland) and are fast and friendly. Oh, they also can do coffee ((rolls eyes)).
