Great place for breakfast. I ordered the strawberry peach soufflé and well worth it.

This is a small, busy, authentic diner with absolutely delicious breakfast! It's a bit on the pricey side ($10 for a side of 2... large pancakes) but sometimes you just have to treat yourself and enjoy! Read more

Grabbed brunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and we found it to be just okay. Initially, we were seated inside, but near... the door and the spacing was far too tight so I asked for an outside table. We were placed back on the waitlist and was calledfor the outside table within 10 mins. It should be noted that while the hostess placed us back on the waitlist, when it was ourturn to claim the table they did not text as they should have. I was close to the door at the toy store across the street andheard the hostess call our name. The food was just okay. Given the wait, and parking situation around there (it?s at 4th streetin Berkeley) we won?t be back. In terms of accessibility, the indoor seating did not seem like it could accommodate awheelchair, but the outdoor seating can. Read more

Best breakfast I've had in the East Bay! The house made Chorizo is hot and sweet, so tasty. The souffle pancakes are inventive,... fluffy and dangerously delicious. ???? ???? ???? Read more

Have to say first, the seasonal fruits soufflé is too eggy taste, I?m not like that. But others like Maryland, California... breakfast are good and tasty, and the side scone is really old school style but yummm. Highly recommend Maryland. Read more

The food is great and delicious but the customer service is really bad, after we started eating our food we asked the nice man... waiting on us to place one more order for takeout and a few minutes later he came back and said that unfortunately they couldnot make the order to takeout because they were too busy and they did not have any space to make takeout orders and that ordercame from the cook and the manager, he said that there was another cafe next door and maybe we could go and buy something thereto take home, after asking for the manager another waitress showed up claiming that she was the manager and just said that theywere not making orders to go, I looked at their kitchen set up and frankly they had plenty of room in their grills for a smalladd on order, my point is that some businesses if they are doing well sometimes they don?t care to go the extra mile for theircustomers because they figure they don?t need to hassle with takeout orders, even though we take the time to drive there thenlook for parking and walk into their places and give them our patronage, meaning they don?t value us as their customers and forthat reason they lose my business/patronage. A bustling diner on 4th street! Staff were attentive and friendly, service was fast, and the food was pretty good. If you're... looking for a chill brunch/lunch place that's easy on the wallet, I'd recommend coming here. The soup & salad combo is great ifyou want something light and warm. It also comes with half a baguette + butter that you can have with the soup, but the smallsaltine crackers they gave were even better in my opinion. We had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated outside, but it waswell worth it because the inside was absolutely packed. Read more
