Really enjoyed the great service from staff, the atmosphere, and the taste of most all the food! There lots of indoor dining... with limited outdoor seating in front next to a loud street. Order inside at the counter then find a seat to be served. The tunamelt was unique and very tasty would recommend! The breakfast burrito was unimpressive and expensive for the serving once meatwas added. Wouldn't be returning personally but enjoyed the experience despite the noisy area and small breakfast portions.Would recommend stopping in for lunch. Read more
Sit outside with caution. After being seated I was forgotten; then, I got to watch a group that arrived after me receive their... drinks and order their food before I was offered a coffee/water. After a few more minutes I left. I normally pick up a Scone togo, and all the staff I?ve interacted with have been lovely. I think that today was just an oversight. Raspberry scones are amust have. This place, alternately a gun store, Creamery, a refrigerator outlet, a couple of different cafes, and a real estate office over... the past eight decades, has now settled into its current identity, sconehenge Bakery & Cafe, apparently a favorite of Berkeley'selderly who populate the cafe as I speak. Putting down a very straight ahead all American breakfast, reminiscent of one a personmight find at Denny's, Sam's, or one of the old school breakfast places. For under $20 if you can get in and out with a decentmeal bad. The staff is really nice I'm also this is a great place to hang out for an hour while you get your car service nextdoor at Berkeley Honda. Read more

They have... several kind of scone in showcase at the place and packaged scones are sold many place in Berkeley area. I called to check the status of their egg Benedict?s. They said they had Egg Benedict?s drove 14 miles to dine to have an Eggs... Benedict. They told me ?Sorry, we no longer have any the Benedict left ?. Stop serving a breakfast item that you continuouslyserve and run out of by 12pm each day before closing or make it very clear to the people that call inquiring that you about torun out of the breakfast item.
