Great location, on the water in the bay. Big restaurant, lots of seating by the windows. Open layout, bay view even for... customers seated away from the window. Food is great, small portions, but nice presentation. They do have a free dessert for aperson celebrating a Birthday. Waiters even put a small candle on the cream brulee. Granddaughter was happy to blow the candlefor grandma. Plenty of Free parking. Nice place. Read more
We had dinner here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The sea food was fresh and decent. The lobster bisque and California roll... were really good, all the other items we ordered were good but slightly over priced. Read more
What a fantastic location! Right on the water overlooking the City of San Francisco! Delicious food and drink. One drawback was... that our server was very annoying with constantly trying to up sell us throughout the dinner. We also felt rushed. It was ashort very pleasant walk from the Doubletree Hilton. The view an atmosphere is a 10+ very relaxing and spacious. Staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Service... was timely. Drinks were good..get a Rose Diamond (I think that's the name). Appetizers were good..had crab dip, calamari andwalnut prawns(not everyone liked the prawns). Everyone enjoyed their meals..the fried green tomatoes were fried in old greaseand too long, the Crab sandwich is the dip on a larger slice of bread. THE BILL..tax was over 10% of the bill. There was aliving wage tax? And the taxed the gratuity. BOTTOM LINE..it was a bit priceyer than expected but we had a ball and wouldreturn. Read more

We went to Berkeley for a half day trip, and had a late lunch at this Skates On the Bay. We had one of the best tables near the... far corner with the a panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and SF city skyline. Iordered the crab cakes as I lived in Maryland for 4 years and loved blue crabs and the Old Bay Seasoning! After the meal, youcan take a postprandial walk along the bay front, like us, during sunset hours over the Golden Gate Bridge! Highly recommended!Cheers! Read more
