It's really cool here. The drinks are really tasty, especially the spicy mocha one they have, and the food is delicious. The... food is on the pricier side but it's still a good spot and good portion size. Wow, this place is popping post-Covid!! They expanded and now they’re an incredibly fun place to hangout and play board games,... or study (if you don’t mind the noise.) Turkey pesto sandwich was really good too! Read more
A very unique cafe, with tons of board games and good food/drinks as well. It's a good place to study (although maybe not if you... need to focus intensely, since it can get busy/crowded). Of course, it's also a great place to just chill and play boardgames--for a small fee you get access to their whole collection which has both classic and newer games. Food and drinks aregood, although on the pricier side. In terms of service, all the staff members I've interacted with have always been verypleasant and helpful! Definitely a place you should check out at least once in Berkeley. Read more
Our first time here. We went expecting someone could help us pick games; our first server was absolutely no help and kind of... rude throughout our entire visit. Our second server changed the entire experience; they helped us find a game, and were graciouswhen we bussed our tables incorrectly, we didn't see the grey bins and put our cups on the counter. This server also helped usfind a collaborative game, and we had fun playing this game! I actually bought a different version for a game night with ourgrandchild! I'm not into games, but they are, so I'm glad we found something we all can play. I really appreciate our secondserver, I wish I knew their name. Read more
Honestly went for a yugioh tournament, we understand that they are not an official tournament store. We ralley the friends and... over double the tournament to 17 people. We were told that prizing would be based off of wins in swiss, but that changed to justtop cut, prizing mid tourney. Friends play out top cut and their prizing wasn't even worth it for top cut, very littledifference. Honestly the coffee was good, food smelled great, board game selection was cool, but the way the tournament was ranleft a sour taste in our mouth. -1 star, considered 2, for the way the tourney was ran, but the place itself was great. I mayreturn in some time to see if things have changed, but lots of my friends don't want to. Read more
