Disappointing experience. AC was broken during one of the hottest days this summer. Server was very courteous and apologetic,... but wait for food was totally unacceptable. I’ve loved Delicious Heights since it opened, but wanted to give a special review on our service last night. My husband and I... came in with our two sons, ages 3 and 1. We were sat in the first table in the dining room on the left with Katie M. as theserver. She was wonderful! Having two small kids, you never know how quickly things will turn from good to bad, so it’simportant for them to have drinks and food first. She came over immediately and took our drink order, paying special attentionto bringing their juice first. After delivering our drinks, she took the kids food order while she gave us a few minutes todecide on what we wanted. After she took our order, she came back immediately with small plates and napkins (a necessity forsmall kids).The food came out quickly, and she checked in constantly to make sure we were doing well. We thanked her for beingso attentive and for making sure the kids were covered right away. As they were finishing up their meals, she was back withtheir ice cream. They were so well behaved (they usually are) but more so because their needs were met on schedule. We were inand out in an hour with our bellies full. As a previous server, I couldn’t help but appreciate how on top of everything shewas. Thank you again for a great experience and please give Katie M extra love for being an awesome server! Read more
Nice basic restaurant/bar with typical type of food. Food good, portions very good, service always excellent. Nice atmosphere... inside, maybe too many tvs for us. Booths available as well as outside dining. Read more
This was my first and last time here with my family. I want to start by saying that the servers were great. I had a 6pm... reservation yesterday for Father’s Day and they were gracious enough to sit us right away since we arrived 30 min early. Iwant to also emphasize I didn’t go to work today because I’ve had a horrible stomach ache since 7pm last night. The problemwas clearly the food. We ordered Spinach dip and the lettuce wrap. The spinach dip was horrible (salty) and the chicken on thelettuce wrap was HARD and we couldn’t even chew it. I ordered the salmon salad… the salmon was salty… my daughter orderedthe kids Mac and cheese and she took two bites and didn’t want it anymore. I tasted it to see if it was good - it was theblandest Mac and cheese in the face of the earth. My guest had the Braised Boneless Short Rib and he said it was pretty bad. Myoldest daughter was the one who lucked out on the burger but still said she’s had better. The service was nice but the foodwas awful and the bill was $180 - it was mediocre at best. Whatever chef they had working on Father’s Day needs some serioustraining or a career change. Read more
Okay service.. Burger tasted good. Fries were oily and cold. Room for improvement there for the price.
I'm super upset this place isn't in my state because I'd come all the time. After a reasonable wait we got great service and... delicious food. Fish tacos were really good and so were the Buffalo chicken wings. Nice selections of adult drinks too. Read more
We heard good things about this place and decided to give it a shot. We weren't disappointed! We brought our dog and our cat and... we sat out on the back porch. The staff were amazingly attentive and even made sure our pets had water. I ordered seared halibutthat was pretty tasty, and my partner ordered a burger which was VERY good. I'll be ordering a burger next time for sure. Theprice was on the higher side but for the quality of the food and service we were more than satisfied. If you're new to the arealike us I highly recommend checking this place out. Read more
This is a favorite restaurant of a friend, so we visit from time to time. Let me say this: it's expensive for what you get, and... the cooking is very ineven. It looks like a big menu, but it's actually not. Bar service & drinks are good, but waitstaff has atendency to get lost in the place, it's pretty large. As to food, well, stick to simple, foolproof fare. For example, last visitI had grilled salmon over salad. The ingredients were good, but the salad was chopped into oblivion. You really couldn'trecognize the individual ingredients until you tasted them, and it was all mooshed together on the plate in almost a paste. Notvery attractive. While the piece of grilled salmon was a generous enough size but looked overcooked, and it was. I don't knowwhat else to say. If you can't serve a decent salad with a moist piece of fish, I don't know what you're qualified to cook. Ican't recall previous dishes I had there, and this was definitely the least satisfying, but I do remember being vaguelydissatisfied each visit. They need to pay more attention to their cooking, because it's a really nice atmosphere, like a 60'sclub. But don't let looks fool you. Read more
