As others note - it is a bit hard to find this place. Other reviews were not so kind so we had our douubts. But we were very... pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The menu is interesting. I had one of the best crabcakes I have eaten in years and my wife's meal was delicious. The house red wine was a bit dodgy - but drinkable. We werepersuaded to stay for Trivial Night - and as Canadians we were made to feel very welcome. All in all, a good evening out and wewould definitely return if we visited the area again. Read more

The girls and I were in town for a weekend getaway to disconnect from work and reconnect with each other and nature. We popped... in Friday and loved everything! We ordered so much food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Daniel was our server,he was a gem ???? the rest of our party came in Saturday and we ended up coming back for dinner Saturday also, the menu reallyhad something for everyone. Soups, salads, appetizers, entrees and drinks. Saturday we ordered desserts. Had supper there for the first time last night. Our server Kat was really sweet and gave excellent service. The fried green... tomatoes and strawberry spinach salad were divine. I got half a salad on Kats recommendation and I still had to bring half of ithome. Portions are very generous. Live music was good and its a beautiful restaurant. Thank you for a great Father's Day dinner. The food was fantastic, the service was superb and the atmosphere is amazing. The... cleanliness of the place is exceptional including the restrooms. The serving sizes are very generous and if you decide to dineoutside on the very large and roomy deck you will have a spectacular view of part of Berkeley Springs. Bad restaurant masquerading as a nice one. Food was hit or miss. Strawberry margarita was like drinking artificial strawberry... syrup, neither tasted nor felt alcohol. For me, usually one drink is enough for a strong buzz. Was told the bartender won'tmake any drinks not specifically on the menu - I'm sorry, what??? Abysmal service. Waitress was around so infrequent that evenif it were heavy pours, which I would never accuse them of, we would have spent the night sober. Any order customizations wereignored, e.g. extra butter for potatoes. One person waited extra time for their meal because it was brought to the wrong table. Spent almost an hour waiting to leave. Checks took forever once asked for and they never came back for them to run our cards. Tried to bring them inside to pay but every waiter/waitress actively ignored our party member inside. Not a case of being toobusy given someone was rolling silverware at a table. Finally just paid in cash so we could try and salvage the evening byleaving. Read more

We had bit of difficulty finding the access to the restaurant from the main road, but that may have been a silly mistake on our... part. But it's just up the long rand at the very end of all the shops. It's positioned at the top of a high hill overlookingthe main road and Berkeley Springs. It has a nice view of the mountain side, outside of the road view. The restaurant isn'tthat big so this should be kept in mind if you are planning to go with a larger group. We were in Berkeley Springs for a familyvacation and so we had a larger group of people, so about 8 people, and I'm glad we made reservations. They do have outdoorseating but it had just rained so everyone was seated inside and it filled up fast. I recommend making reservations just incase. The cabin rental recommend this restaurant for its crab soup, and while it was definitely delicious it seemed a bitexpensive, but it was real crab so... the cup was kinda small and was $6.50, the bowl which could have been a decent meal was$10ish. They didn't have a very large entree choice but it was enough to cover the different tastes of my family members. Allthe portions were pretty big (besides the crab soup cup) and we definitely ordered too much. The food was delicious, for theexception of the Mac and cheese side. It had a very strong taste that was very different from what one would typically expect, Ipersonally did not like it. The server was very friendly and helpful for food suggestions, but she did forget some if ourrequests for small things like napkins or sauces and things of that nature, but I think it was due to the fact that they were abit understaffed for servers at the time. Very solid lunch/drinks place! The patio is phenomenal and has great views. I suggest swapping your fries for onion rings...they... hit the spot! They are open in the evenings too, although they're short staffed these days and close at 9 (rather thanmidnight). Thanks Lindsay for the great service!! Read more
