My fiancé and I came here on our anniversary for lunch before heading to a nearby resort. We sat at the bar and had a really... enjoyable time. I ordered an extra dirty martini which was delicious. We ordered the meatball sub and pulled bbq sandwich. Thebread was super fresh for both of our sandwiches. The meatballs were delicious. I really liked the truffle chips too. Loved it! Cool art on the walls, great speakeasy feel. Try the grapefruit Martini. I had the shrimp salad salad "Baltimore"... style, comes with balsamic, such a great compliment, it was fantastic. We have been coming here for a while now. We have even driven an hour and half to eat dinner here. The staff has aways been... amazing, even during COVID. The bartender Mark is the best and he knows how to make a great drink and is super cool to talk to.We decided to bring some friends this past Sat. We ordered Cod and Beef. Everything was cold when it came out. I know thewaitress seemed stressed out but you do not pay these prices for cold fish, beef and mashed potatoes. I was away for the weekend with friends and we decided to find a restaurant in Berkeley Springs. The décor is so fun! We went... on a night when a piano player was there - nice touch. I was craving a margarita and the waitress recommended their housemargarita - not a fan - they put orange juice in it - not good. I ordered the burger and fries - it was good. The waitress wasalso the bartender, so our service was awful - I think we were there an hour and a half total and the waitress only stopped atour table maybe three times - to get our order, to deliver our food, and eventually after a long wait, to hand us our check. Wewent without some of the condiments we really wanted because of this. Even if she would have let us know in advance that shewas also bartending, we could have gotten up and gone to the bar to ask her for items - but we were in another room and didn'trealize it until we were leaving. Enjoyed a nice dinner on a pretty busy Friday evening. If your going here for just drinks you?ll be happy but I highly suggest... getting a bite to eat because the food was superb. I really enjoyed the theme and atmosphere and can?t wait to come back. Thereason for 4 stars is the wait staff could?ve been better at there efforts to refill drinks and check in on tables. Great local spot with an artist and chill vibe with hints of a subtle dive bar. Friendly and great staff and lots of locals.... Food was excellent. Highly recommend and also check out their store next door that has balsamic tasting and other food sauces. Read more
