Food is expensive but you get huge portions. I got pasta twice. The second time we went it wasn't great. The service was... terrible. Waited so long for drinks. There was an event going on and they were short staffed so I'm sure it's better than thatnormally. The bands that play there are amazing. Always great songs to dance 2. If I'm paying $28 bucks for pasta and $35 forsteak it better be excellent. I'll probably just get appetizers next time. Read more
Yes I was there for a very sad upsetting and disappointed reason of a young wonderful man taken from us too early, but his... heartbroken mother used this spread of food (called the funeral arrangement) to serve loved ones at his repast. I was soimpressed with the food arrangement that I complimented her choices which she then told me what it's called; we laughed. I toldher that I don't care what they called it but that it had just become my "wedding reception arrangement"! We laughed againhugging. That is what this place did for us: For her in limited time frame an arrangement that would please everyone's diet,fish/chicken/ beef/veggies; and for me a checked box off my wedding list of to-dos! Celebration of Dominican Mother’s Day at the Hawthorns. The food was delicious and the service incredibly. The price was... great for the amount of food that we received. Pay $20 for salsa night and you get salsa clases with a great DJ. The restroomare clean. Big parking lots and ases abilities for wheelchair. Read more
Good location, fun band, Lobster ???? Bisque was awesome!! Fried Calamari was very good, dipping salsa had a nice kick. The... creamy seafood fettuccine dish was very good, lobster, scallops and shrimp cooked well. Drinks ???? a little light but my girlloved them. Read more
Went there on a Friday evening with friends. Service was very good, the live singers were a nice touch. The food was also very... good. We ordered the calamari appetizer and Zuppa Di Pesce, which we shared between two of us since the portion size was verylarge. The complimentary bread, cheese, olives, and olives oil served before our entrees were a nice touch and also verygood. We ordered house wine: merlot and Cabernet, and a sangria which didn't disappoint; however, a couple of the mixed drinkswere strong but not on point taste wise. Overall though, a very pleasant night with attentive service and good food withslightly louder than desired but decent music. Will be going again. Read more
This is an amazing restaurant! Wat a fabulous find!! My friend and I came here for lunch and I had the French onion soup... followed by sole abd veggies. My friend had pasta al mare which is loaded with seafood and extraordinary!! The bread that wasserved was warm and crusty with a bowl of olives, cheese. Will def b back here???????????????????????? What a nice place! The food was really good. They have specials on Fridays. Had a filet mignon. My kids shared spaghetti... carbonara. My husband had the tomahawk. Good wine variety. our experience was almost a plus... carving station and salad bar were both excellent. you couldn't ask for better food. We... would give an a plus for everything ,,,however the server didn't show up to take our drink order until we were almostfinished. then she gave us our bill which she said included the 20 perc tip was included then had the nerve to ask us for more,,She was the manager of the bar there...which we though took alot of nerve.
