Really good food compared to what I?ve found nearby. Language is definitely a barrier (had to repeat order and address a few... times), but they were awesome with my special request to have it come to my work before closing time. I would give this a zero star if I could?. Anyhow I tend to never write a review or complain about most places, but with this... experience I feel like it should be here. I order take out for the company pretty frequently because I work near by. Every timeI?ve ordered the order has been correct and the food is decent for the options near by. This time I ordered and there was amistake, which is fine because it happens. So I called to see if I can get the order corrected. The same lady who took my orderpicked up and she repeated what she had written down for the order and there was a mistake with what she read off to me. Icorrected her and said I ordered sesame chicken with noodles. She had put down sesame noodles and that is indeed what Ireceived. Now this is where I have a issue with Happy Garden. I understand not all customers are correct and sometimes customerswill complain about anything to take advantage of businesses. So instead of saying sorry we will fix the mistake free of chargeand actually give me the correct order. She told me I had to pay $7 to get it. I was kind of confused at her response, so myresponse was so I have to pay more money to get the right order? She said some words, but it pretty much was pay $7 or getnothing. So I decided to test some more of her customer service because there already was none at this point, but I told her wewon?t be ordering here ever again to see if I get some type of reaction to get my food I ordered and there was nothing. We saidgood bye and that was it. I will not be ordering here anymore sadly. I don?t understand how taking a loss of maybe $4 to makethe food and correcting the issue is worth losing customers that spend $50+ a month. Read more
Great food terrible customer service put me on hold 4 times young girl barely spoke English asked for card info multiple times... but still kept getting it wrong kept speaking in Chinese to people in store till she hung up abruptly called back she said storewas closing but it's only 5 in the afternoon. Happy garden is by far the best Chinese food in Berlin. I ordered the S8 Triple Delight, S11 Amazing Chicken, and the #59 Chow... Fun with Shrimp, the order also came with a huge container of white rice. The S8 was by far my favorite, the brown sauce wasdelicious. Will definitely be back. Read more
General tso was amazing. My ladies lo mein is also very very good. Has a fresh taste to everything. I read other reviews about... the customer service but they were actually nice. The woman in there seems serious but she even smiled at me and said thank you.Can't be that bad. I definitely will return! Have a new favorite spot close to home. Read more
The food is delicious, but the older lady at the front is not the nicest person. Everyone else is great.
