The ambiance can't make up for the generally poor service and not great food. Every time I come here, I hope that things will... have improved, but it consistently disappoints. For starters, the hostess staff is slow and clueless and will leave youhanging while they try to wake up enough to do their job; I don't understand why they put a clueless teenager in this positionwhen they have such an impact on first impressions. The wait staff isn't all that bad, but then the menu is lacking--not yourserver's fault, but I have to wonder if there has been turnover in the kitchen again. My Juevos Bruncheros was cold and prettytasteless, with a side of hash browns that had some yucky sauce on them. My first cup of coffee was OK but the refills lookedlike dirty dishwater instead of coffee. My friend wanted a plain burger and ended up with a meat patty on bread, looked ratherunappealing. I would love to see this venue up their game and serve better food. In the meantime, I would suggest somewhereelse, maybe the new 410 Social or Blacksmith. Read more

The Atlantic Hotel is a beautifully restored Historic Hotel in the heart of downtown Berlin , Maryland. A must go to place... when visiting the area. Accommodations are unique & comfortable. First visit to Berlin, America?s coolest town, for shopping and sightseeing. Decided to have lunch at the Atlantic Hotel... Drummers Café inside as it was a hot day. There is an enclosed screened porch. Took 20 minutes before we signaled someone tocome over to serve. Pretty bad given that they seemed to be fully staffed and lots of folks running around. Mason C did comeover and did apologize. We had a crab cake sandwich and chicken salad platter. Decent but very average food. Great ambiance atthis Historic location but service and food lacking. We came here for dinner in their restaurant, and the food was simply amazing. The prices are not meager, but you do get what... you pay for in both quantity and quality! The atmosphere and history of the building really adds to the dining experience, aswell. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend this place for a special dinner with specialpeople, because it will always turn out a special occasion, I believe! It certainly did for us! Read more
Overall: My go-to restaurant for a nice day. Notables: The Buddha Bowl is fantastic. Light and fresh, but satisfying. Salmon... BLT is a local favorite. Service is typically either good or excellent. Atmosphere is great -- I would highly suggest sittingoutside to enjoy the fresh breeze. Read more
