Members take early tee times and hold the course up. Conditions are ok, but very slow play with no ranger to move members along.... This is a $60 course at best. Read more
Good course and conditions. Staff is friendly. They don't have range anymore, have to hit fake balls now. Don't leave your... valuables in cart like a dummy like I did. 110% Left rangefinder stuck to cart like an idiot when my buddy was in a hurry totake cart back and it's gone. Doubt it was left on there for group the next day since we were one of last groups in. What areyou gonna do, lesson learned. I'm local and used to play here several times a year but won't go back. Good staff interaction. Course has a great design but definitely needs a little help as conditions weren't the greatest. That... being said, I do recommend playing here. I know it's hard this time of year but could be better. The restaurant/bar was verycool. Read more
While the greens at River Run were in good condition overall, the tee boxes and fairways need some work. Our foursome played... this course on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at a price of $110 per person. On the day before we played Bear Trap dunes at a priceof $90 per person and found that course in excellent condition with a more interesting and scenic layout. While the staff atboth courses were very customer friendly our foursome was in agreement that the greens fees charged by River Run are too highfor the condition and layout of the course. Read more
River Run is an interesting in design and fun to play. Course conditions could be better, but they are not so bad as many have... described in previous reviews imho. Take away unrepaired ball marks left by prior golfers , greens are good with medium speed.Enjoyable round...probably not worth $100, but okay with a golf package deal. Read more
Terrible experience! Got told to leave pro shop unless purchasing something because the cashier was ?afraid of Covid.? Get to... the turn and the half way house was closed. Was told by Ranger that the restaurant was open and drove all the way over to get awater on a 90 degree day and the door was locked. Never saw the drink cart until we were on the 15th hole. A terrible way tospend $95 on a round. Spend your money somewhere else. Read more
