Sadly this location has downgraded their portions, with less food and non-fresh ingredients. At first I thought it was an... off-day, but I?ve gone back a couple times to give them a chance, and the breakfast burritos are being made noticeably smaller.If you?re used to eating a delicious big, fresh Twisters breakfast burrito at other locations, you?ll need to order two here toget full. Really bizarre way to cut costs. Even though this is my local Twisters I?m only going to visit the Abq locations untilthis one improves back to its old self. Read more
Not worth the price. Got their double chili burger, and one patty was normal sized, one was a half patty. Also, only 2 little... pieces of diced onions what looked like a half bitten jn to pickle, and 2 chili pieces. Amazingly good breakfast burrito (for lunch). Love that breakfast can be ordered all day. Also for those with lactose/dairy... allergies the Westside burrito comes without cheese! No need to negotiate leaving off the cheese. Ordering was easy, food readywhen they said it would be, and they got the order right. Our burritos tasted great and were very inexpensive. I'm scratching my head at all these recent negative reviews. I went to this location yesterday afternoon, ordered through... drive-thru, and it was a pleasant visit. They weren't busy since it wasn't around rush hours, but the lady that took and gave memy order was great. The food itself was delicious! I got the Green Chile Chicken burrito, smothered, and a large Dr. Pepperwith no ice. The only complaint I have is there could have been more chicken in the burrito, but otherwise, it was hot, fresh,and every ingredient tasted so good. The pictures I took almost illustrate just how good it was... almost. :P I'll definitelybe back! Thank you for a wonderful first visit to Twisters after having gone so many years without it. We?ve been going to the Bernalillo location for years. It was usually pretty consistent and good. It?s really dropped off from... what it use to be. I?ve always really liked the Indian Taco?s. Use to be crispy, smothered in green chile(choice). Now it?s not,just basically pretty anemic. My wife?s chicken taco plate was the same. Use to include salsa in the order, guess no longer.It?s unfortunate this has become the norm for takeout. Read more
Great fast food but yummy food spot. Staff was very nice. We got to go inside to order and they offered dine in. Food was cooked... fresh to order. Big portions. Good food. Seasoned well. We ordered a lot so we could taste a few things since it was our firstvisit. The staff member that took our order was helpful explaining all the food and flavors to us. The kitchen staff was niceand cooked our food quickly and the kitcheb looked in order from what I could see as I peeked back. Good expiernce. We will beback. ****Feb 2022...We went back after this and found the doors locked but drive thru open. No reason why and we have a RV socan't use drive thrus. Very upset at the fact no one came to the door even tho they walked in front and saw us. No notice on thedoor or online. World?s saddest burrito. I went to twisters today to pick up an online order. When I arrived I first received a box with egg... potato and cheese. I went back around and ask them where the tortilla was. They told me I had ordered the wrong thing, but thatthey would correct it. When I first pulled up to the window, an employee came up and asked me what I exactly wanted and I toldher. She said they would fix it. Then another employee came to the window and explained what I needed to order in the future. Hetold me what I wanted was a smothered burrito. He told me at least four times that normally it would be an extra charge but theywould take care of it this time. I offered to pay the difference but he kept repeating himself that in the future they wouldcharge me. Came into this twisters on Black Friday 2022 at 1:15 pm. No cars in the drive through, no one inside the place. Ordered a burger... and it got out in less than 9 minutes. Curly fries were hot, and came inside a box with the burger. I had 5 packets of ketchup.Perfect! Why can't the other places ever give anything more than 2 flippin packets of ketchup?
