Small, but efficient shop. The line was long when we showed up and I expected a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised that it... moved quickly because their ordering system seems to work well. We went in because the online ordering setup only lets youorder 8 items max; if you're ordering for 3-4, just call it in. Came here for my daughters 3rd birthday breakfast. She insisted she wanted an eclair? once we got it she had a meltdown because... she wanted a sprinkles donut. The wonderful staff quickly reacted and brought out a free sprinkles donut for her. Additionallymy wife and I ordered 2 sandwiches for ourselves, but they messed up and only rang us up for one. When our food came out I letthem know we were supposed to have two and without hesitation they made us another one for free! Rise staff goes above andbeyond and I would give them 20 stars if I could. Lots of good pastries. They also have a distinctive menu prepared on site. Multiple types of artisinal bread which they will... slice for you on request. I work in the Berthoud area and have become a regular at Rise and let me tell you. This place is amazing. The ladies are... incredibly sweet and make the best treats. I eat at Rise often and their food and service is always wonderful! But, I just had a piece of their baklava for the first time... and if you don?t order a piece you are making a BIG MISTAKE! We just happened to be driving through the town of Berthoud and discovered this small hometown bakery. I had ?The Greenfield?... Breakfast Sandwich and my wife had ?The Braintree? Lunch Sandwich. We did not try the coffee, pastries, soups or salads, but wedid buy a bag of coffee beans (Redemption Road Coffee) to go. Everything that we did have was fresh and delicious. Such a pleasant, well run place! Their breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal and I loved their iced chai tea latte. Can't wait to... go back in the future, but my grandmother and I stopped by for lunch and could not have been more pleased with the quality ofthe food or the impeccable service! I personally recommend The Burlington as it cures your salt cravings with the biscuitportion, your sweet tooth with the splash of maple syrup, and your protein desires with a delightfully cooked sausage and eggcombination. The square Swiss cheese on top was the perfect final touch to bring all of the flavors together so seamlessly. Theyhave a long list of other breakfast/lunch items as well as countless pastry options and numerous drinks to pick from.
