I went to a birthday party that turned out to be a very ugly night. The staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people there... because they were understaffed. So the bartender decided to take it out on us. Using racial slurs towards us. Then a customerthat was there decided to stick up for his bartender and threatened to shoot up the place. He also started using racial slurs.I've gone to this place plenty of times and never seen anything like this. This is not a place for people of color I guess youhave to be white to come here. Look at the neighborhood it has changed big time. Most of your customers are going to beHispanic. This place needs to close down we don't need it in our neighborhood. Read more
I'm not sure how this place has such good reviews. The food is subpar at best. My husband had a burger twice & both times he... said it was bland & the patty seemed like a frozen one that was overcooked. I had the spaghetti twice & both times it was blandhad to put a lot of pepper & salt just to get some flavor, the marinara sauce tasted cheap as well & both times spaghetti cameout warm not hot. We finally tried their pizza which I guess they're known for & it wasn't anything to rave about, bland pizza.All the food we've had has just had no flavor, nothing to make you wanna come back. But we go cuz it's convenient & prices arefair. The bartenders & waitstaff are all nice & the place it self gives off a comfy feel I guess... just sucks the food isn'tall that great. That looks at this place it looks like it's closed down you walk in and the smell of mildew like wet carpet to slap through in... the face... Then you're greeted with a very rude very monotoned young lady with dark black hair who told us all you could orderis fried food and then we asked for mozzarella sticks and she said no we're not making those right now so we asked okay whatfried food can we order she said fried food SMH ??????????? highly highly recommend you to go somewhere else like we did we gotup and left. Had an amazing experience. The pizza was on point, and the baked mostaccioli with meatballs were phenomenal. Customer service:... two thumbs up. Our server; who by the way was the only server and attending the bar area as well, did an excellent job. We werea group of 14 with 7 children all under age 10yrs. She had the most pleasant attitude and very patient with us. Usually when youfind a place that has great food you end up with not so great service or vise versa, but to find a spot with great food andexcellent service now that's something to brag about!! Kept driving past Michael Anthony's restaurant on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn - so we checked out their menu & photos online and it... seemed like a cute place. We were a party of five adults early on a Thursday nite and not a big crowd at all. We were served inthe dining room, although they have a lively bar area and a "beer garden" out back. The interior is rather dimly lit, but it'scomfortable with some interesting (but dated) photos and decor, like something out of your Aunt's 1970's basement. The menu isvaried, including sandwiches whole dinners and pizza... we ordered soft drinks and two large pizzas and they came very quicklyand to perfection! Thin cracker-style crust with yummy cheese & pepperoni and a cheese & sausage. All five of us were very happywith our meal - literally some of the best thin crust pizza we've had. Would describe it as a true homestyle pizza. The twolarge-sized pies provided enough leftovers for a small lunch or two. The soft drinks were larger sized and we could have gottenrefills. Server was attentive. All in all a nice place for a casual meal. We will be going back to try some other menu items aswell. Read more
I've ordered many different things from here and the food is always good. Whether delivery or in person, the customer service is... very good. My favorite is their chicken noodle soup. But, they only serve it on Saturdays. Read more
