Stopped in on a quiet Tuesday at 4 pm. Place is adorable and gave me first date vibes. The mussels marinara ???? as my mother... would say “to die for” I was using the shells as a vessel to transport this heavenly liquid into my mouth as quick aspossible. I hope they jar it up because I’ll be the first to purchase. Brought an order home for my husband and I’m usingsome bread to soak up the rest of it as we speak. What can I say about Frankies Fellini Cafe.... Spectacular?? Welcoming??? Homey?? It felt like my italian grandmother just made... me her famous gnocchi Pomodoro. 5 friends and Myself all went to Fellinis around 8:30pm. Frank was welcoming and treated us likefamily. There is a saying on their menus, "the only thing that out performs our food is our service" and they nailed it all. Iencourage everyone near and far to at least give them a try. Have been searching for linguini and clams locally for months. Omg they did it perfectly! Finally got my fix and it was enough... for dinner and a full lunch the next day. This is as much an experience as it is good food. The waitresses have thick Philly accents and call you "hun" and make you... feel like you're their favorite customer. A guy comes out and sings Frank Sinatra songs with a karaoke machine. Frankiehimself is always there and greets you when you walk in. The restaurant itself is small and they pack you in like sardines. The atmosphere is usually fairly loud and vibrant once the dining room fills up. The food is great and it's a BYOB! Read more
