I don't know if this is just a one off bad experience, but this was by far the worst seafood I have had in a while. The fried... oysters were cooked perfectly, as well as the calamari, but the oil had an almost rancid taste to it. I'm going to give themanother chance because the staff was awesome. Finally a local seafood restaurant that was totally worth the time & money we spent . . The low country boil seafood bags are... wonderful. Everything is cooked in a bag, seasoned to perfection & brought out to the table in the bag. I had the Alaskan King Crab & boiled shrimp with potatoes & corn & 1/2 dozen raw oysters... At that time the market price for the Alaskan King Crab was$60 per pound. A little expensive but so very worth it, if you really enjoy crab legs. Definitely fresh seafood... Well asfresh as one can get when the nearest ocean is 5 hours away. Our waiter was excellent, I can't remember his name but he was veryattentive, made sure we had everything we needed & came back occasionally to check to see if we needed anything more. Since ourfirst visit I have called in several orders for fried oysters & fried shrimp dinners to go and the food has been consistentlygood with each visit & the order has been ready when I got to the restaurant to pick it up... No wait time. Prices seem prettyfair. They do have a bar & a bartender that can do more than just open a bottle of beer, if mixed drinks are what you favor. I'm super excited that I don't have to wait until my next beach vacation to enjoy some decent seafood now. Read more
Food was fresh, tasty and spiced just as we asked. Service was great! Only down side was the lighting in the restaurant--it made... everything look pink. It didn't affect the taste of the food, however. ???? Read more
We had boiled shrimp and the fried shrimp platter. Both were awesome! Service was great also. The blue lighting took a little... getting used to but that didn't take long. Would recommend. Read more
I am born and raised in the South and my husband is a true blood Yankee! On our way home from visiting family in Louisiana/Texas... on our way back to Jersey we stopped here and we were SO glad!! The food was amazing!! My husband got the fried catfish?it wasfresh, crispy and seasoned to perfection and the his sweet potato fries were so so good! The pieces of catfish were solarge!! I got the boiled shrimp with the hot/Cajun seasoning and they were perfect! And to top it all off our server, Brooks,was the BEST!!! We definitely plan on stopping here next year on our yearly trek down South!!! Read more

While the aesthetics were not 5 star- we were pleasantly surprised by the seafood boil. They supply a trash bucket to dispose of... shells, napkins etc. They provide a bib, gloves and wet wipes. The food was hot and fresh and had great flavor. There wassufficient parking as well and our waitress was fantastic. Read more
