I live in the area and we've been going here for many years. Very recently with in the last few months things have changed a... lot. Our pizza orders for the most part have been good, by this I mean they've been correct and the food has been good that'swhy the three stars , although I haven't ordered pizza in a little while and once or twice it was a little over baked. On theother hand starting a few months ago I would order chicken once a week, first couple of times it was excellent large pieces andthe order right sides correct. Recently it seems like no matter what I say they are hearing the total opposite and the chickenpieces are small and anorexic looking, I will no longer be getting my take out of chicken because tonight was the last straw.Very sad to see things go from so good to so unorganized. We were taking a trip to all of the surrounding waterfalls of the Bessemer area and happened on this place after seeing such... great reviews. I was overtly pleased to find out that these reviews were absolutely correct. Everything is delicious. Mysignificant other had the ribs, baked potato, and cornbread. The ribs were messy and tasty (the way we like em) and thecornbread was super buttery and thick. Truly so dang good. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. It's amonster of a sandwich but very filling and a bit sweeter for pulled pork than my usual but definitely no complaints here aboutthat. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and had enough crunch and thick chewyness to them. We also ordered the jalapenopoppers for an appetizer. There was a total of 6, they were a good size with ample amount of cream cheese in them and deep friedto supreme crunchiness. If this sounds good to you, surprise surprise! We ordered dessert too. And I'd recommend even going herejust for the desserts. We shared a piece of caramel apple pie cheesecake and then we each had a midnight snack when we got homewith the Oreo brownies. The cheesecake was my partners favorite and the brownies were mine. But you can't go wrong either way.Definitely worth the stop. Read more
