Great staff, and great food served quickly. Great variety of food. More to offer on various types of food, instead of just... pizza. You can eat in, or take-out, whichever you prefer. It's pizza. It's fresh and it is way too expensive . What they charge for a large veggie pizza is outrageous considering all you... get are califlower and broccoli ,frozen stems and pieces. The least they could do is use fresh veggies and not just stems.Unfriendly for a family pizza night price wise also in comparison, a local competitor offers $5 carry out special 8 cuts . For$6 more I could've purchased 64 slices with actual ???? and cauliflower. So 24 slices for $34 or 64 slices for $40 with betteringredients. We will not stop at a pizza Joe's ever again. The pizza was really good and the staff was very friendly!! And they worked hard to make sure we got our food quickly and make... sure it was accurate. We had a large group with all separate orders. And they handled it all efficiently! Read more
Owner was berating a new employee saying nasty things to her. "Listen you don't call off, I understand things happen but you... don't call off or your fired!" (Among other things) Meanwhile there were 6-8 customers waiting that could hear every word.Imagine what he says to these young kids when no one is there. ???? Read more
I order from Pizza Joe's in Bessemer at least once a month (was more frequent during the height of the lockdowns). The food is... usually very tasty and normally I have no issues. Tonight I ordered online for the first time. I ordered over $35 worth offood. I wanted a "steak and cheese hoagie", which is the steak pattie. What I got was a very sad looking Philly Steak. (Twototally different sandwiches on the menu.) I called the restaurant when I got home and realized what they gave me, just toclarify whether or not I had misunderstood the menu... I was told "Oh, you ordered online. When you order online, weautomatically give you a Philly Steak." No offer to fix it; barely an apology. So, *IF* I ever order from this Pizza Joe'sagain, I won't order online. I don't understand why they even have online ordering if they have to guess at what youwant. Weird. Read more
Fast service and excellent pizza. I don't think they deliver, but that doesnt stop me from ordering. I don't think I've ever had... more than a 15 or 20 minute estimate, and the pizza is always ready when I get there. I haven't eaten in, but they do haveplenty ofnaeating and it is very clean inside. Never going to the Bessemer Pizza Joes again. We ordered pizzas and they got BOTH pizzas wrong, then when we took the order back... to them they literally fought with us over remaking it and were very rude to us. They tried charging us the full amount againjust to remake it. When we were waiting on them to remake it they gave us dirty looks and were whispering. Bad place to go. Read more
Got the taco pizza from here. It was pretty good but would want to try something else next time. Seems like a nice place.
