Every time I go through the drive thru McDonald's in godfrey il it's fresh and delicious
Always nasty fries are worst ever but only other place to dine in nearby lobby was locked.
Loved the sweet lady at the drive through, Penny! She saw my American flag license plate and started a conversation. She is a... true, proud patriot and told me she grew up in a military family and even said she wanted to buy my husband a meal when Imentioned he just retired last month with more than 20 years service in the Army. I hadn't tried McDonald's in months and immediately became exhausted after eating it, almost like they put some sort of... psychoactive chemical in their ingredients. The girl serving my food basically ordered me to take it when I had a question. Notnecessarily her fault for being raised this way, but what they've done to cottage hills and rural America while they live ingated communities in Brentwood robbing the peons blind is disgusting. When I first pulled into a mobile pick up spot an employee told me she would bring out the order. 10 minutes later I called and... the employee said I had to go thru the really long drive thru lane to get my customers food. This McDonalds is causing financialharm to delivery drivers making us wait for food that is likely ordered before anyone in the drive thru lane has ordered theirfood, making us wait prevents us from earning more money and gives our customers food that has been sitting around for 10-30minutes. Came through last night around 9pm. They seemed short handed, I get that. The fries are really what I come here for. The large... fry I ordered and the kids fry were not only not full, but all of them were "floppy". Likely at the end of their hold time. Itwas very unpleasant for myself AND the child. This was the most disappointing visit, generally the service is good. Please don'tserve fries like that!! I can't be the only one that dislikes fries that are floppy, past their hold times!
