Good new little coffee spot! Coffee itself is good quality and lattes always come mixed perfectly. Staff is friendly overall,... but my only complaint is that everytime I go I'm upsold too much. I get that it's an important part of restaurant service, butwhen I go order my coffee I'm still asked multiple times about adding extra espresso shots, adding on food items, or even addingon additional coffees even though I already made it clear that I just want my one drink and nothing else. Over the past 2 years I've had a lot of what Scooters offers, and I have some advice on what to avoid. Don't bother with the... iced tea, it's a dark harsh brew with a very coffee-like flavor (funny enough if you get an iced Americano you'll swear it wasiced tea). Absolutely avoid the breakfast burritos, unless you're craving a Dollar Tree microwave burrito and want to pay waymore for it. The bagel sandwich looks so delicious on the menu but it's about half the size of a regular bagel and comes out hotand wet because I assume all the food goes into some kind of microwave. Stick with the basics. Brewed coffee and espressodrinks, chocolate chip cookies, and actually the waffle sandwich is pretty good. Read more

This place just opened in Bethalto and it's already off to a great start.
I've always loved Scooters and this one is going to be my go-to going forward (it also helps they're only a minute from my... house). I know some grand openings can be disastrous, but I can tell you that this one was far from it. The staff was very welltrained, extremely friendly, and kept calm despite the swarm of vehicles constantly coming in! They do have a Chick-fil-A systemgoing on right now, due to the intercom system not being up yet, but it did not hinder anything. It was nice having a teammember out there greeting customers, welcoming for opening day. If I were to criticize anything it would be that I wished theywere open at 5am so I could get some on the way to work, but oh well. I guess they are saving me money that way, haha! Read more
