Excellent food and service. In our first visit we ordered sopa de res, pupusas y empanadas de maduro con carne, everything was... delicious, very authentic and freshly made. In our second visit we ordered Nacatamales, and were delicious as well, verytasteful and the flavor is the same as if you were buying them in Nicaragua, well done. Authentic Nicaraguan food! Muy delicioso...the main dishes are great, like the Pechuga, but the sides...the gallo pinto and... plantains! Reminds me of the restaurants in Granada and Managua and Puerto Cabezas. Read more

My boss and I came by this place on a recent business trip and it was the best decision! I am Costa Rican and this food is as... authentic as it gets. It’s worth driving East to West on NW 23rd street to meet this yummy brunch at Tierra Mia Nicaraguan Latin Grill. I love the... fried bananas with the cream. Huevos Rancheros Con Plantanos Fritos is the fried eggs covered with tomatoes, onions, and servedwith fried bananas. Yummy in your mouth. The seafood soup is so fresh and delicious. Wonderful, and delicious food! Their menu has so many choices, and everything is delicious! The food isn’t at all American,... and I love the different taste from Mexican food as well! It isn’t quite big, but I hope they expand soon! They also have asmall shop of things from Nicaragua! They also have a TV and music playing! It has a nice and cozy atmosphere, and I’m alwaystaking leftovers home with the big portions! I love the service, and I’m sure I will always be satisfied! I’ll definitelybecome a regular! Read more
Delicious food and great service! Try the agua de melon! Soooo yummy!
The food was absolutely delicious. We had a bit of a language barrier, but they were patient with my minimal Spanish. The server... even brought us samples of their refreshing fresh jugo so we could decide. We went with the Chia Seed Jugo which was veryrefreshing. Note: The menu is in Spanish and English, plus there are pictures. We will definitely go back, especially since itis only a 3 minute drive from my house. Read more
