Above average neighborhood Italian restaurant. Best thing that I ate that night was the squid in smokey red sauce. While the... pasta was fresh, I?d have preferred something that had a larger surface area, like fusilli, to soak up the cinghiale rague. Beware of the Jazz nights, expect a larger crowd & slower service. Read more
The Italian waiter had a very good style....we couldn't have lunch because of Ocean spa cross a street with a very strict policy... of being late...so they packed the meal for take away but did not provide a fork...we came back...and sat down for me to have anice dessert & drink...it's how I got impressed by his outstanding service...!!! Was here on a Wednesday for jazz night and saw a great Latin Jazz Band, Tony Cintron & the Latin Jazz Lifetime Experience. They... were very good. Had a nice glass of Rose and a delicious dessert special, a blackberry compote with mascarpone cheese. Delish!Service was good and ambience was very nice. Read more
On a Saturday noon we had lunch here. The food were very tasty. Especially I liked its mussels. And the apple crepe was so good.... The reason for not earning a five start was the service was very slow. The hamburgers we ordered came out more than one hourafter we placed the orders in a not too busy day. Read more
Creative menu, delicious cocktails & pleasing ambiance. Uniquely vegan/ vegetarian friendly. The Upper ?rooftop seating? was... open air and enjoyable. Manager, server & kitchen staff were all engaging. Decor was rustic/chic while still modern & clean. Really impressed!! We will be back! Read more
I would have given 5 stars but the service was AWFUL!!! The food luckily was the saving grace and gratefully we love the friends... that we were with because the waitress disappeared and never checked on us at all!!! We wanted to order the fondue but becauseof her neglect we were told that the kitchen closed for that at 9:00 and it was 9:15. We would try La Zingara again but makesure that we had a different server. Read more
