Portofino?s is my absolute favorite restaurant in CT. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always overly... satisfied with my meal. Yesterday I got the shrimp risotto which had a rich creamy taste in every bite of rice along with anabundance of shrimp! The calamari will always be my favorite here and I will be getting the hummus next time. Service wasefficient, happy and polite. Can?t wait to return and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat adelightful meal in the area. Read more
Simply the best of the best!! The menus options are an excellent value and extremely accommodating. The dining experience... overall was pleasant with the wonderful staff and owners. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience in theDanbury/Bethel area. The fried calamari with sweet chili sauce never disappoints and I asked for a side of fra diavlo sauce fora traditional touch which was amazing!! (Highly recommend) The Chicken Sorrentino was a boneless chicken breast topped witheggplant (pan seared) along with fresh mozzarella and fresh marinara. Really love portofino restaurant in bethel ct, we?ve been coming to this location for years, yes we?re locals our favorites are... : fried calamari, Cesar salad with grilled chicken was amazing( amazing juicy chard chicken) wifey had beet salad with friedgoat cheese, it as spectacular, MiL had Tucson salad has pecans , fig , gorgozola cheese, so delicious . Would highlyrecommended this location.. Besa was our waitress ,very attentive and pleasant,helpful , very knowledgeable in menu and helpfulin helping with recommendations also fun personality. Our favorite Italian restaurant in the Bethel area. Never disappoints. They catered our son's BHS football team pasta party... and satisfied 55 hungry boys. They all claimed the best pasta and meatballs they ever had and I have to agree. Great job. Read more
