The best lamb-chicken dish around 100 miles from Danbury

I love it. Wife loves it. A gem of a restaurant in Bethel! Generous portions and you can tell the chef carefully tenderizes the... beef and lamb, delicious! If you like spicy they will scratch that itch. If you don't, you're still in luck because they doa Fish n Chips better than most places i tried when we lived in London!! My advice is go for the Haddock and get at least 2pieces of it with your chips. You'll be satisfied!! Read more

I ordered number 11, the chicken kabob salad. I will say it looked nothing like the picture they have posted. I received 6 tiny... pieces of chicken, yes, tiny pieces! The rest was salad, and it looked more like garnishing! My plate to go was not hardlyfilled, I was taken aback about the portion and the cost. I never like to feel taken advantage of, and I walked out of therefeeling exactly like that! It?s a shame too, the chicken was good, I can?t justify the price and the tiny portion. This is my 3rd time here and the food is always flavorful and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the kebabs on the menu... and the white sauce is great. The rice and pita bread are cooked to perfection as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful.We can't wait to try other items on the menu. I would definitely recommend this place. Read more

The English style battered fish was really good. The chips however were very different. This was down to the skin being in. The... oil used as well as the cooking temperature/s. The kababs were great too. Albeit a question regarding internal temperaturecould be fairly raised. All in all I'd happily recommend this place..
