Braised short ribs: good look, good textire, flavor? Whistle… whistle… whistle…. Come on, flavor, come to daddy! Saw... dust. Shrimp in salad? Ice cold. Dressing? Zero flavor. Yes, it is difficult to get high level staff, but a place purportingto be at this level ($90 dinner for two with tip), should do a lot better. Read more
Always enjoyed tavern dining. Last night discovered new chef hails from the South. Tried Todd's shrimp and grits, it was... amazing. So flavorful and satisfying. Had mussels for appetizers. They were perfectly done. Ended up seeing friends there andstaying longer so ordered more mussels since they were so delicious, healthy and a good choice after several cocktails . Delicious meal and great service. I got the special, a seared duck breast on spätzle with a cherry bacon sauce. My boyfriend... had the seared tuna with rice and vegetables. We had a vanilla ice cream sundae for dessert. Thanks for having us! Read more
Worst experience in a restaurant we’ve had in a long while - even for pandemic times when we understand service suffered…... Reservation for 7pm, we got seated quickly, and waited for 50 (fifty) minutes for someone to get our order for drinks. Food wasdecent but not remarkable and when you wait one hour for drinks and 1.5 hrs for appetizers, with children starving after a dayof skiing, it doesn’t really matter… Eventually we got to eat , my 6 yrs old didn’t like his wings and we tried to ordersomething else for him - and were promptly refused because they had closed the kitchen (at 9). I am writing this while waitingfor someone to bring us our check still tonight so I can get to a gas station or so to get something for my kid…. Read more

Ordered the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection, but lacked any flavor. The vegetables that came with it were amazing though.... Waitress was attentive and kind. Atmosphere got really loud and not from music. For some reason there was a group of four nearthe bar that thought everyone (a handful of people in the restaurant) in there needed to hear what they were talking about. Read more
