Have been coming to Bethel Inn Fairway Townhouses for 23 years. Though we come each September, which is technically an off... season for this area, the weather is generally beautiful and excellent for playing golf. The food and service at the restaurantsin the area are very good. Read more
We used the Bethel Inn & Resort both for our rehearsal dinner and as the hotel at which the guests for our wedding would stay.... It was great! The rehearsal dinner in a tent outside could not have been better. The Inn itself offers lots of choices of typeof room. The front desk employees were as helpful as they could be, given that they work with a challenging software system forreservations. John, the restaurant and food manager, is wonderful to work with. It is a beautiful older building that has beenrenovated and is really charming. There was no other venue anywhere near the wedding venue (in Norway, Maine) that could matchthis resort. Read more
Such a quite place to visit, the building is historical and older so don't expect brand new facilities. it is clean and well... kept and the staff are nice. There is a good sized outdoor pool, tennis and golf course . The breakfast is great lots ofselection, hot food is hot, cold food is cold and everything was fresh. they have a cabin on the lake where you can use kayaksand canoes. the reason for 4 stars it the hot tub had out ward facing screws where a piece of wood trim had come off and waspushed behind a dresser. We stopped in for lunch today while visiting Bethel. I ordered what they call a bacon cheeseburger. First off you can not change... what they use for cheese(brie), I asked for cheddar. Then they burnt it so badly I could not eat the burger. The so called baconwas actually pork belly and was not cooked through. The fat was not rendered and the skin was burnt to black. I told thewaitress and they showed that they don't care. If you want decent food, don't go there! Read more
Room we have is the 1 bedroom townhouse. Very spacious and balcony overlooks the golf course. Pool and pool bar are very nice.... It is a great little place for a get a way. Has access to a lake a few miles away. Didnt try out the restaurants on site. Read more
A wonderful stay and so many walking and hiking areas nearby. Spacious townhouses and great view of mountains and golf course.... On site Tavern, with happy hours was a plus. Felt like home away from home. Read more
We came for the Thanksgiving Buffet 2022. The cold foods and soup were great. But ALL of the hot food was either cool or the... veggies were not cooked at all. We asked our waitress to go and heat up the food. And as I looked around others were doing thesame thing Not cool ! Read more
