Love Banana Leaves, it’s my go-to for vegan Asian options nearby. They have faux meats and will let you sub them in any dish,... the prices are great especially considering I usually get multiple meals out of it, and the woman who is usually at the frontdesk is always so sweet and friendly. Great hole-in-the-wall style place for takeout. Good customer service from the man running the counter, who was very friendly... and accommodating. The portion sizes were generous, and like another reviewer said tasted neither too oily nor salty. Amazinglyhuge variety of vegetarian options too. We're definitely coming back! Read more
I’ve been a regular patron here for at least year and it’s always been good food and good service. There’s a woman who... works at the front who is very sweet and friendly. My mom and I went on May 23rd to place an order and some guy (Never seen himbefore) acted like he didn’t want to serve us. He was the only one in the store. He said we’d have to come back because his“system was down” but it was so peculiar that I walked down the street and called to place an order. He took my order thenno problem. And then he charged us the wrong price. This was lunchtime and so typically, we get the lunch price and it costsabout $20-$23 for both items that we get. He wanted to charge me $39. I asked him about the lunch price and he said we don’toffer that right now. So I cancelled the order and hung up the phone. I will not be returning there until the woman is back.He’s rude, doesn’t know what he’s doing and doesn’t need to work there if he can’t serve all customers. Read more
Super tasty and great value, my husband and I ordered some take out form them on the weekend and we ordered from their lunch... specials we are also vegan and they had a good selection for us it was very tasty and abundant probably not the best place toeat at the location but the food was sure amazing (although probably not the healthiest option but it was worth every bite) Read more
Two amazing, tasty meals! Neither oily or salty like most standard "American Chinese take out". A huge menu that can satisfy any... gathering. I'll definitely be coming back for this gem! It's mostly a take out and delivery place but it does have a singletable in the front. Read more
I ate in here with a friend. I got the vegetarian chicken green curry and he got a sirloin beef and vegetable dish. The eat-in... experience was not great, as it was on a plastic table and we ate out of takeout dishes because they couldn't find plates. As aplace that mainly does takeout, this was understandable. However the vegetarian chicken tasted extremely strange andoff-putting. My friend said he felt like he had eaten bricks after finishing his beef dish.
