Came here for dinner Sunday—service was a bit slow, but overall the food was good! Top favorites were the Lamb Bolognese and... Spiced Shrimp and Frits—both dishes were well flavored and decent portion. Duck Fat Fries was a good side, and we tried theirSteamed Mussels special—it was okay, a bit bland for my taste. Read more

First time going to a happy hour in Bethesda and I loved it! $5 drinks and even some food options for $5. Came here on a... Thursday with four friends from my lab as an after work social and we had a blast. I went for a classic, Jim Bean bourbon withcola (it's Pepsi here but no biggie for me). I was planning on only drinks as I just went grocery shopping and planned to cookat home but I just couldn't resist the calamari-- NO RAGRETS! (It's a movie reference). Between my friends, their favoriteappetizers seemed to be the Salmon Sliders and the Smoked Beef Brisket Slider. We ended up staying from about 4:45-6:00 ashappy hour ended at 5:30. I definitely plan on stopping by here another day for happy hour and will bring other friends to checkit out. Read more

Stumbled upon this gem and was not disappointed. Surprisingly empty for a Saturday evening, but business seemed to pick up as... the evening wore on. Ordered four appetizers and 2 desserts to split between two people. Plates are on the smaller side, butprices are moderate, ingredients are fresh, and everything was absolutely delightful. The crab beignets and ahi tuna tacos werefavorites, but the wild mushroom gnocchi and fried green tomatoes were also very tasty. Looking forward to trying an entree nexttime - the shrimp and grits or rockfish sounded fantastic! Read more

Great happy hour menu and the food was delicious. The ambiance is really chill and the service was great. Lots of teamwork... helped and it showed. Happy hour prices are fantastic, considering anywhere in DC happy hour drinks are about 10-15 dollars, these are 6. Can't beat it. Read more

Visited 11/5/21. Ordered Duck Fat fries, blackened salmon and a Golden Rule cocktail. Everything was delicious. The duck fries... were so good, probably the best tasting fries I’ve ever had. So much flavor and their truffle mayo is excellent with thefries. I couldn’t stop eating. The Blackened Salmon was also amazing. It was served with blackened skin and the skin was supercrispy and flavorful. The fish itself was a thick piece and was super flaky. Staff is attentive and not overbearing which Ienjoy. Multiple waiters roamed around handling all the tables, I guess that’s the set up they have. It works well because ifyour particular server is busy, it’s a good chance another server wil l be able to check on you. In my case, it workedwell. I happily enjoyed my server tonight. I’m sad I didn’t get his name but he was an African American gentleman with amustache. If the owner knows who I’m talking about, give him kudos for me. Excellent work on his part. Will visit again atsome point, keep up the good work. Read more
