I enjoy when I visit a restaurant and it’s not crowded because there’s no notice in the background and it lets me... concentrate and enjoy more the food of my plate. It’s a small place that has a lot to offer, the waiters are fast andfriendly and give great recommendations. Even thought the size of the plates it’s not big it’s just the right size so youcan enjoy a soup, a main plate and a dessert. Fun small French inspired place. Feels like a corner French cafe in Paris. Edison lights. You know. They almost always have a... huge 36oz ribeye (tomahawk presentation). Outside seating too. Convenient location in downtown Bethesda. Nice custom cocktailsand the wait staff is very knowledgeable about food and the menu in general. The escargot is a delight. Pro tip: dip the minibrioche in the garlic sauce! They’re good people with lots of opinions and you’d be remiss to not ask for them! Read more
Nice presentation and food tasted great for the price point. Even came in a fancy takeout bag. Duck bolognese had a smooth and... creamy sauce. Ratatouille was a nice appetizer, refreshed the palate. Would come here again. Read more
Great service and overall good food. The Duck Confit and DDG Burger were oh so tasty! ????. Unfortunately the crostini were too... hard; the ideal crostini is supposed to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the ones I was served were notpleasant to eat. Similarly, although beautifully presented, the ratatouille was not authentic. Management, please improve thosetwo menu items. Visited this gem for the first time last week to celebrate my birthday with some friends. Did not disappoint! So many delicious... veg options! The squash risotto was out of this world. All of our dishes were delicious (we did about 10 small plates), and theservice was outstanding! The staff personally signed a card for me and brought out a delightful birthday surprise. The breadpudding and sorbet desserts were pretty fantastic too. Highly recommend, this place is well worth a visit!!! Read more
