On a whim, we decided to go to Lucky Strike with the kids. We didn?t make reservations but the manager was able to get us a... lane. There were six of us and we enjoyed two hours of bowling. Our server was friendly and polite. We ordered appetizers anddrinks. Shenika (manager) came by consistently to ask if there was anything we needed or wanted. She ensured that my five yearold son had a ball that he was comfortable with. We are definitely going back. After reading some of the reviews, I highlyrecommend folks go when Shenika is there. Despite the somewhat worrying amount of work I feel like the two (?!) employees were trying to do all at once by themselves,... they were doing a great job, and I love the concept - overall very charming, with the combo restaurant/bowling alley thing.Mostly great setup with the couches and decorative bookshelves and extra arcade games, mostly well-behaved system, we all hadfun in the couple hours we were there. I wish there hadn't been inexplicable enormous TV screens, though - they really detractedfrom the vibe and blocked the lines of sight from the couches to the lanes/scoreboard. I don't know what could possibly havepossessed someone to spend a bunch of money making the bowling experience actively way worse. Read more

They made sure we were good and made sure everything was okay. It was nice to finally meet great people with awesomecostumer service!! A wonderful experience for all ages! After looking at multiple venues for our son's 11th birthday, we decided to do the... children's birthday package at Lucky Strike Bethesda, in Montgomery Mall. We were a bit skeptical at first since the venue wasvery modern and chic, probably more suited for older adults looking for a fun time with some drinks and appetizers. But looksare deceiving and we were impressed at the quality and care from the whole experience. We luckily decided to give it a go for achildren's birthday party and couldn't have been happier. The service, from the initial contact with Natasha who was patientand courteous throughout the entire booking, was great and left me at ease. She was very responsive and always worked to makesure we got our reservation squared away. On party day, my son and his friends absolutely LOVED the place! It was chill vibes,as one young friend described it. The food was delicious, drinks were ALWAYS refilled, problems with managing the bowling lanessystem was always handled quickly and correctly. The entire service staff were extremely attentive. This was nothing short ofreceiving a VIP bottle service sort of attention. Again, for a children's party! How amazing. The only downside may be thatthe kids would be spoiled from here going forward, as they may be thinking that this level of service is the norm. Marquise, Shenika and crew are phenomenal. We celebrated a 40th birthday here and the service and food were pleasing to all. Our... party was pretty large yet we all felt that 1-on-1 attention that made all feel like we were a priority. Kudos to this locationand we can?t wait to visit again. PS What scent is the hand soap? I had the best birthday experience ever. It started with Natasha Brown, my party coordinator. She was responsive, caring and so... helpful. I couldn't ask for a better person to help me with this party. Denny Tra, Shenika Canada and my server Jah'liah wereso pleasant, professional and FUN! They were so nice, OMG. My party was a HIT and ALL OF MY GUEST were so happy and pleased. The food was delicious and we had so much fun.
