As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was very relaxing. Started with a warm baguette with creamy butter. Tried the escargot... appetizer. Ordered their steak and fries as a main with a red wine. The best steak I’ve ever had. Our server Gary was amazing Read more

I came for brunch and loved it!! We had the baguette and it was delicious. Very simple “appetizer” and it was fresh and... crunchy in the right manner. The butter and jam served with it were both delicious. Tried the brioche pancakes with blueberriesand loved it. Some of the best brioche pancakes I’ve ever had as they were flavorful, subtly crisp on the outside, and softinsight. The cream on top was great as were the blueberries. I am usually underwhelmed with French toast brunch dishes but thiswas excellent. We also had the croque madame and this too was delicious. I’ve been a fan of the croque monsieur for a while, but this was my first croque madame. The main difference is that the latter is served with a sunny side up egg on top. The eggwas cooked well and the yoke runny, the ham and cheese sandwich was great, and the bread was fresh. The fries served with thiswere nice too! The only drawback was the service. We waited to order and waited easily 30 mins for our food plates to be takenafter finishing. And we had to ask for our check even though it was obvious we had wrapped up. I do want to go back and tryother items on their menu; I’ve heard great things about their burger! Read more

Food was ok. I think everyone around me enjoyed their meals but I did not. My medium hanger steak was overcooked and tough.... Fries arrived cold. When I gave the waiter this feedback about the overcooked hangersteak he just said 'sorry'. Would have beennice to hear him say 'would you like for me to take it back?' Read more

We made a reservation for lunch on a weekend. I had Bellini, onion soup, and prime beef burger with a side of sautéed... mushrooms. All the food and drink I had were good and reasonably priced. Overall I had a great time, and I would recommend thisplace. However, one downside was that the server asked if they can take plates and put a check on the table, while we werevisibly, actively eating. This made us feel rushed. Read more

Visited this restaurant in Bethesda. The food was amazing, I had the Trout with green beans and my friend had the Salmon with... mashed potatoes. We made reservations because we were told we had to and walked from our Hotel, however when we arrived therewere persons without reservations that were seated before us. The atmosphere is a bit busy they sat us near the Kitchen/Bathroomarea in a booth. If I were to return I would either ask to be seated outside but definitely NOT near the Kitchen. Read more

This place sucks. I came as a solo diner (to celebrate a recent occasion), and I was seated in the corner behind the bar next to... the utility ladder. It was 5:20pm, 20 minutes after open, and there were 2 other parties, one behind me and one across thedining room. Server took 25 minutes to get to my table after I was seated, then proceeded to give me the Valentine's Dayspecials while I was seated alone. Came back after another 10 to take my order. Onion soup tasted fine, but there was onionskin in it. Roasted chicken was described as 'superb' with the garlic herb butter rubbed under the skin. It was not superb, alittle dry. Servers got switched before my final check, and my original server was busy asking this older lady how her day wasand asking her to take the coat. Best part of my meal was the wine, which happened to be the only part not made by therestaurant. Read more

Solid dining experience like a 3.5. Service and food were both good but nothing that really stood out. Food taste was good but... more on a home cook level vs great chef. Generous portions were filling. Got roasted chicken, steak, baked goat cheese, cremebrulee, profiteroles Read more
