ordered 2 bowls and side of crabsalad totaled out to 38$ and they got my order incorrect I asked for all the crunchy toppings... and received no crunchy toppings. I called the restaurant (since I ordered on chow now and already went home) I called askingwhat they could do to rectify the situation and a boy on the phone told me that I should just ?Dig in? Bcs I must not ?see thecrunchy topping since I asked for so much they only gave me a little bit of each one? talked to multiple people EVEN the girlwho apparently MADE MY BOWL telling me ?she put crunchy topping on the bowl.? And that ?they were just really busy when it cameto making the order? I?m literally looking at one bowl with topping and the other with no topping and it?s such anunprofessional back and forth I?m just trying to explain that my meal is wrong and I payed a lot for it and if someone couldoffer a solution that is beneficial to the consumer other than ?bring it back and we can give you a new one? after driving 30min to go and pick it up. Ridiculous. Barley had meat in the bowl if only this place took online orders seriously as much as inperson orders CLEARY there is a disconnect between customer Care when it comes to placing online orders vs. going into therestaurant which isn?t a luxury for some nowadays. It's expensive for what it is in terms of food and service quality. I've come here usually because it's not very busy. However... it is a favorite hangout of teenagers in the middle of the day but they typically only get bubble tea. The two counter systemoften leads to having to wait anyway. Love Poki DC! I'd never had poke until visiting a friend in Hawaii in 2021 and loved it. Was delighted to discover this place so... close to home! Just $17 gets me a quick, healthy meal, and usually some leftover for the next day's lunch. My go-to options arethe sushi rice; marinated tuna and salmon for protein; radishes, pineapple, seaweed salad and carrots; and crunchy onionthingies with eel sauce on top. Been awhile since I've gone for poke, so I stopped by Poki DC for carryout. Quick and easy to go through the line selecting your... base (rice/lettuce) and proteins and then the toppings. This location is bright and they've got plenty of seating. Staff isfriendly and patient when you're trying to make your selections from all the topping options.
