I'm still full!! What a magical place. Loved the indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Attended with a local foodie group so they catered... experience to us with low lighting and candles. Perfect for the love vibe I was sharing with my burrito. Nice taking to Tonyand the bartender (didn't get his name unfortunately) to learn about the creation of the place and delicious cocktails. Defrecommend this place for a fun date/ happy hour/ special event! Read more

Checked out Tacombi, and had a great time with my friends dining here. The service was really great, and the food/drinks matched... the vibe of the restaurant really well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in downtown Bethesda looking for tacos to enjoy. My favorite is the watermelon juice, and I could probably drink this all day. Read more

On a rainy Thursday, my friends and I gathered at Tacombi for happy hour on their patio and then dinner in their dining room. I... liked how the restaurant gave off a chill taqueria vibes. The staff (including Cesar, Patrick, and Tony) provided excellentservice throughout the night. For drinks, I enjoyed the Agua De Sandia, 1/2 Agua De Sandia / 1/Agua De Piña, and Horchata, which were slightly sweetened and quite refreshing. I liked how the Agua Frescas were made fresh daily. For appetizers, Ienjoyed the Corn Esquites and Guacamole Con Totopos. The Corn Esquites consisted of corn, topped with cotija cheese, homemademorita mayo, chile powder and garnished fresh lime. I liked how it was served in a cup. It's the best Corn Esquites I've had inthis area! The Guacamole Con Totopos consisted of fresh chunky guacamole made of ripe Hass avocados, fresh cilantro, jalapeño,onions and lime juice and served with our Vista Hermosa Totopos. I liked how the guacamole had spicy kick that wasn'toverwhelming. In terms of tacos, my favorites were Al Pastor, Carnitas, and their award winning Baja Crispy Fish Taco. The AlPastor Taco consisted of thinly sliced Berkshire pork marinated with special chilies and spices, slow-roasted on and sliced offa trompo as it's cooked, and garnished with fresh cilantro, diced onions and pineapple. The Carnitas Taco consisted of BerkshirePork, slow-roasted, marinated with Mexican coca-cola, beer and citrus, and garnished with cilantro, onions, escabeche andavocado-tomatillo salsa. The Baja Crispy Fish Taco consisted of Alaskan cod beer-battered, and garnished with pickled cabbage, spicy escabeche and tangy roasted poblano mayo. I liked how the tacos were made with fresh and high quality ingredients. Myfavorite menu item of the night was the Avocado Tostada, which consisted of crispy fried corn tortilla topped with guacamole, black bean spread, pickled red onion, queso fresco, and cilantro and finished with a mildly spicy dried chile salsa d Read more

Really liked this place! Two of the three tacos were excellent; carnitas and al pastor. The carne asada was a miss. The... beverages were excellent. The feel of the place is really akin to parts of the Yucatan which is petty cool. The very open spaceis amazing when the weather is right. Undoubtedly the major obstacle here is the price, which is why I think at current writingthe overall rating falls below 4 stars. Most everything is a good 20-30% more than it should be. The miss, that carne asadataco, was almost $7 for one small taco. That's a tough sell, TBH. Read more

Very cool vibe and good food! We got the corn esquites, gringa (Al pastor quesadilla), Baja crispy fish taco, and Al pastor... tacos. Everything was great! Definitely one of the best Al pastors I’ve had in a long time. We also had mezcal and Agua desandía (watermelon)—so refreshing. This felt like a mini-vacation. Tacos are your street size, I found that one taco and thequesadilla was plenty for me. If you have a big appetite I recommend three tacos or mixing and matching with the quesadillas andburritas. Service was super fast here, food came at lightning speed. Everyone was very friendly! Read more

Absolutely lovely the beach vibe at Tacombi. The menu is short and easy to navigate. But plenty of tacos, quesadillas and... burritos to choose from. The street tacos are amazing. Don’t forget to ask for the hot sauce to make it an authenticexperience. The margaritas are yummy but a little pricey. The servers where helpful, friendly and new you feel like you havebeen a customer for years. Good job and great addition to Bethesda. Read more

Best Al pastor tacos I've had since moving to this area and I've pretty much tied them all. The highlights were the fish taco... (not pictured), Al pastor, and corn. Everything was good, but those things were definitely the stand outs. We will be back!! Read more
