Maybe it's because I expected more for the prices that I paid. Maybe it was just a bad night but whatever it was, I was not... impressed with the food. Wife and I came back to celebrate our 6 years being together. In fact, our first date night was here.But tonight it was not good, if I'm bringing honesty to the conversation. The calamari tasted oily. As for my fish and chips,well the fish, though crispy, was flavorless. Very disappointing. Maybe the waitress set the mood to a bad start with herharsh, abrasive tone with us. Or maybe it's just that the cheesecake factory is only good for certain dishes.. and cheesecake(which we did not have by the way). Either way.. not impressed today. Food looked good. Very pleasant to the eye(presentation) but did not taste good. Sorry cheesecake factory but I have to give you two stars today. ???? ???? PS. I didenjoy the Potsickers. If I had only eaten that then you would have ended up with 4 stars, I might have gotten my cheesecake butour waitress would have gotten 2 stars. Read more
Man the wait here was ridiculous on Mother?s Day. I believe we showed up at around 5pm just to be sat down at 7:15pm. This was... on a day where no reservations were being taken either. Today while at the apple store in Montogomery Mall me and my son decided to go to Cheesecake Factory? Our wait time was told 25... minutes but it was less then that which was great our waitress Tamya T was beyond great and whoever was in the back making thedrinks at the time I was there was well on point I loved everything from the atmosphere the greeter the person who sat us orwaitress everything I was great. Came here to celebrate with the family and it was busy as always. The nice thing is that you can put your name in and they will... just text you when your table is ready so you can just go browse or whatever and come back. As you probably know the menu ishuge like 21 pages huge. We ordered some cheeseburger spring rolls to start which were ok but not great. You get 3 whole onescut in half. I got the chicken and shrimp gumbo which was really good and flavorful, it usually comes with rice but I opted tohave it without. The flavors were spot on and loved the bits of sausage along with the fresh spring onion. Another person gotthe southern fried chicken sliders as a meal and it was huge! It came with 4 sliders, chicken was cooked perfectly and all thesides were there if you wanted to add pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce. Another person got the shrimp scampi with angel hair andit was ok but the shrimp was breaded which was a bit unexpected and really not needed. The overall flavor was just lackingthough which was disappointing. The shrimp and tomato pasta was very good and flavorful, was a big hit at the table. Why notfive stars, unfortunately the service was extremely slow, looking around it seemed everyone was pretty annoyed at the length oftime things were taking. This place has fallen off. The quality of the food is terrible. Over priced small portions. So busy, the waitress never checked... on us after receiving the food. Waitress also burned one of our guests with a hot plate. So unacceptable and very upsetting ???? Read more
Let it be known that I do LOVE Cheesecake Factory and I will continue to eat there. As the food here has continued to be great.... However, out of the six or seven times but we have visited this location, there have only been two occasions where our waiterwas actually decent. The service here is horrifically slow. Even when we have a decent waiter, the service is still horrificallyslow. I just don?t understand what?s happening. Most of the time our server doesn?t pay much attention to us and even when theydo come to the table, they are awkwardly quiet. Not friendly chatty servers that I am used to having at most restaurants. Thatbeing said, the food has still been consistently good!! The nachos are and fried Mac n cheese are my favorites. But I?m alsocrazy about the egg roll sampler. My husband fluctuates between one of their all day breakfast omelettes, or a burger or fishtacos. Our kids are crazy about the mac & cheese! And if I go with my mother, we love to get the Thai chicken lettuce wraps orthe bang bang chicken and shrimp, which I think it?s truly special and delicious! As for dessert, you can?t really go wrong withany of them. My personal favorites include the Godiva, the Adams peanut butter fudge ripple, the Oreo or the s?mores! Had a great lunch at The Cheesecake Factory in Bethesda. Our waiter was amazing and very attentive. The atmosphere of course was... nice because it?s the Cheesecake Factory?lol.
